    Just bought a shedload of Flatwound Strings from Stuart, great Guy - excellent communication and express delivery. Only problem is I will have to buy some more basses to put them on Regards Will.

    (Cool , I may well have to look into the model J's , has the bass response improved since the swap? as the sound on my bass at the moment is a little on the bright side and I am looking for something a bit deeper and with killer punch ) Quote -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes the bottom end is Trouser flapping, but not muddy. DiMarzio Model Js. ( Passive ) Really pleased with the sound ( and the lack of Hum and Microphony ). Regards Will.

Apparently the original Fender neck was damaged. Anybody interested in this is welcome to come and try it out. Will.

Bass is in very good condition apart from scratch near neckplate, and 10mm ding on side ( see photos ) + slight discolouring on body near neck. Selling because I am playing Short scale now Bargain price reduced to £175.00 Collected from Leeds ( Or could meet up within reasonable distance ) Would consider P/X for a Baritone Guitar (30" Scale ) or interesting Guitar i.e Yamaha SG. or possibly a LIGHTWEIGHT 15" or 2x10" cab or Short scale Bass Will.
