Fair enough. Expensive way to buy stuff if you're going to sell it on though. Ouch. That phaser looks the dog's danglies BTW. Never seen one of those before.
The Effectrode pedals are very high quality effects, more like studio items in a pedal format. The Phaser is just awesome....the most natural organic sounding unit I have every heard. -

Thanks Steve for the trade, Im really enjoying the sound of the Mesa Carbine head. The Glock has a very smooth sound that suits your Skjord really well but my Sandbergs and P bass needed a head with more 'bite'. The mesa pushes my sound forward to give a very bright and punchy sound with great bottom end. Thanks again.....and it was a pleasure to do business with you. Marc
Did a trade with Marc - think my voice is going with all the blabbing I did! Very much recommended - great company and equally good coffee. Thanks again - love the amp!
Thanks Steve....it was a pleasure.

I guys, I've just wired in this Burford Electronics Mid Frequency Choke form.... http://www.projectguitarparts.co.uk/Pages/burfordfx.html Has anyone else used this little passive device ? I needed more mid and top cut on a passive P Bass and didn't want to go the active route. Thought I would give the Burford choke a go. First results are very positive, it gives a large cut in the top to mid frequencies which sounds wonderful with flat would strings. Really brings out the 'thump' to produce a good heavy sound. I would recommend this little device if you are looking for more cut than the standard passive tone control option.
I bought one of these cheeky little numbers from a fellow Basschatter a few months ago - it's Asstastic! Quite a variety of tones from all out to heavy fuzz to a bit of (butt) mud to mostly natural bass with hint of fuzz. Very tweakable. Very powerful sounding. Totally chocolate starfish I'd say! Love the pink triangle and pink LED. I was torn between this and the Earthbound Supercolider when I pounced on this one and have no regrets - it'll stay on my board forever and has been incorporated into a few of my bands songs too. I found a good website created by a Talkbass chappie I think it's called bassfuzz.com. He's kindly reviewed a selection of pedals and included ratings and some samples so this could help you decide if it's the one for you or if you fancy something else. Arsemungus mate!
I also have one that was modded by Malekko to add a little extra bass responce when using an active bass. I found my Sandbergs lost a little bottom end when used in active mode. For me they sound best when used with a passive bass like my Pimped P. They are Asstastic.

Hipshot D tuner and ultralights for sale on ebay........
voxpop replied to voxpop's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
Gone - I bought 'em. Shouldn't have really, but the timing was irrestistible. I've just today put a black p/g on my CAR Duck Dunn (which looks simply divine, darlings) and the only aspect of that bass that I'm now unhappy with is the cheap Korean-licensed copies of the Hipshots. A set of black ultralites with a D-tuner is just about the only Pimp My Bass option left to me ...
Thanks for the quick payment.....I will post off tomorrow. Marc -
NNnnnnnnnnnoooooooooo !!!!! I know where they are from...... WHY? it'll neck dive like a bitch if you put heavies on! You should've said I'd would have gladly had them back....! Anyhoo they've gone to good home now.....!
Yes I know the neck will dive but I just did not like them. Put on a set of VERY HEAVY Gotoh's. Now thats much better...........I promise not to muck about to much with your creation.
