A 12ax7 is the same valve as an ecc83. Check out Watford valves for info and prices.

My favourite flat wound strings for 4 string basses. Great feel and tone.

I now have the Shuker Artist fretted 6 ... it arived at my work place a few hours ago. I cant wait to plug it in tonight... im very excited.

This is so sad. A real loss from such a tragic accident.

Also if you are new to valves.... Don't turn the amp on with no speakers connected. This can cause damage to the transformers. Hope this helps.
