"SOLD"
Would love to, however I've no musical work occurring at the mo, therefore its an unjustified spend.
No such thing as "an unjustified spend", go on you you know you want to...
  6. I hate this 'buyer pays fees' selling technique. It is the responsibility of the seller to pay the fees not the buyer. I simply refuse to buy from sellers who insist on adding extra fees to their sales.
  7. A 12ax7 is the same valve as an ecc83. Check out Watford valves for info and prices.
  8. Shuker Artist... http://www.shukergui....uk/artist.html I have one with a Delano Jazz type pickup so you get best of both worlds.
  9. My favourite flat wound strings for 4 string basses. Great feel and tone.
I have one. excellent and well worth the asking price
Thanks.
  13. Last bump before withdrawing these. £450 collected.... Saving £1550... Crazy.
  14.
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Hanshare-Electronics/Convert-/_i.html?_fsub=2826040011
I've bought the adaptors from that seller and they are a handy way of trying a 6sl7 tube in a mini socket. Worh giving it a go for a few pounds.
  15.
At home today, so snapped some pictures of my VT5
Oh Gareth.
  16.
I do wish folk would stop banging on about how great Sandbergs are....(the Fender Benders might find out and start buying them, pushing the price up beyond us poor mortals!!)

The bottom picture is a custom with mahogany body, with a walnut sandwich and a burl maple top, birds eye neck and 'gold' hardware. Standard Sandberg humbuckers with coil taps and a three band Glock EQ. It is, without out doubt, the best Bass I have ever played in 45 years of playing. the expression "it plays like butter" was invented by this bass!!
Its my old bass that I got Sandberg to make for me a few years back. Its without doubt the best Sandberg I have ever played. I only moved it on because I needed a 6 string fretless. I really hope you enjoy playing it.
  17.
Yes, of course I do. Hard not to. I did at one time have the first Beatles LP down note perfect on the bass and vocals at the age of 15, but that was after Buddy Holly, Eddy Cochran, Johnny Burnette etc. I don't own a single bit of Beatles product and never have, though I know most of their output. I'm just sick of their all reaching never ending iconic status. It's a bit boring now to bang on about 50year old tunes as if they are genius and it saddens me that people don't think we have progressed much from that point. Also, other artists covering Beatles songs never sounds anything other than wrong to me, because their tone and sound was such a massive part of why their stuff worked. So Beverly knight etc all sound a bit lame. You may as well have had Bruce Forsyth introducing them all and tinsel drapes etc. Beatles, great, tunes, Northern English perspective at a time of great cultural change etc,all of that, but very old news now.
+1
  18. Need these gone within the next two days.
  19. This is so sad. A real loss from such a tragic accident.
  20. Also if you are new to valves.... Don't turn the amp on with no speakers connected. This can cause damage to the transformers. Hope this helps.
