1. WOW! for a squire its LUSH! Id have that over any Fender made this century.
2.
How about one of these...
OOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo... would that work so when I wanted jazz pups (normally dialed full vol neck 1/2 to 3/4 bridge pup) that would work in the same way as a bridge J pup? I play over the MM pup normally anyways but love jumping to the neck pup for a smoother tone.
3. any idea where to get a set of TI Jazz Flats? had a google but its just people in forums talking about them lol
4. Ive just looked at Eudes Jazz bass and its give me some serious gas. updated spec, 4 String Jazz 22 fret Ash jazz body, same squared edged body as this below also with the blue quilted top Birdeye maple neck 41.3mm (P bass size neck) with inlays like this blue one but in blue pearl, blue quited headstock (fenderish style). Delano MM/Jazz hybrid pickups. Badass Bridge (may choose a diffrent one if anyone can think of anything better for sustain?) Still need to figure out: which electronics will suit me best Nobs + arrangement tuners (chrome hipshot ultra lite clover?) nut type so roughly like this, if anyone could give me some advice on things it would be greatly appreciated

F**K! Eude! come on man, ive just been looking at the shuker site looking at what I some day could afford/want. then the first thing I look at in gear porn is pretty much exactly what ive just been specking up for myself, id want a full maple neck though. Mate, tell me where you live and the next time your out Edit: The Jazz bass btw.
7.
The 20th anniversary was purely an indulgence
Yeah but its PURE sex in a bass.
8. Reminds me of the pimped highway 1 Burpster had. Looks freeking SwHeeet!! Id love to have a bash on it.
9. I use elixrs on all my basses which are super fast, but I cant find anything fast for flats, tried all the roto range of flats, favorate being Roto Jazz. Might sound stupid but my fingers stick to the strings (both hands) and its an effort. What im after is Flats (not round/ground/half) which are slippery as hell. Can you get flats with the elixr kind of coating on them? can you buy stuff that coats strings? or can you recomend some silky smoothe flats please?? Thanks Guys/Gals
10. Im self employed and have to pay Pub Lia insurance, its about £360 I pay and thats the cheepist ive got for 1mil cover, im pretty sure it'll cover me for other things too as I work in the financial services area..... But does this mean I wont have to bother with more insurance for gigs etc?
11.
Ah it's a 4-string...I'm looking for a 5-er but wait...Do you still own that OLP? I'm looking for an OLP MM32 for my new project. I've done a P now I want to do a 'Ray but I favour 2 pups (funny as the P-bass has one). I posted it in the wanted gear section as I cannot find one. A real HH ray is WAY outta my reach man...
Nah my OLP MM32 went to Stoo I think, or did I buy it from stoo? string spacing was tight to say the least. plus the extra neck pickup was too close to the neck so pretty impossible to slap. I wouldnt really recomend them altho the tone wasnt bad for a OLP. Maybe try the new Stirling for musicman range, its musicmans answer to OLP being not under licence anymore.
12.
I recently finished off my P-bass project with a BadAss II. I to don't rate standard bridges...you have to keep moving the E and G-string saddle back into centre as they go off and also the springs behind the saddle rattle...Annoying when you play unplugged. It's up to you. Either go for the Geddy Lee or build your own. I'd go for the MIM Jazz personally as you could overhaul it completely...But if your a BIG Geddy Lee nut you may want a Signature. But if it's only for the bridge...they don't cost much you could get a MIM Fender and go from there. P.s. what 'Ray you got cause...I'm in the market for one.
yeah my P sounds really nice with it, im guessing yours is fretted? (click link in my sig for build diary) I had the same problem as you with the saddles moving around on my old mim jazz, lovely bass but when they move it goes out of tune slightly and that plus bad technique, bending the strings slighty = no fun. ps. Im selling this beauty. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=30542
13. I have Burpsters pre groved Highway 1 BA2 on my fretless. I get on really well with it. I just dont like fender bridges, seam to get side to side motion on them where you dont with the BA or musicman bridges.
14. I LOVE badass bridges, got one on my Flea bass and on my fretless P. I dont rate the standard fender bridges. Im thinking about buying a Jazz, nothing expensive but I have a rule one out one in, and as my 'ray is up for sale, cheepish Jazz bass it is. I know the Geddy Lee has a BA on it, and if im not mistaken the Highway1? Is it worth buying a MIJ Geddy, or just getting a MIM and adding the BA myself? or is there an alternitive? Thanks
15. Nicely! looks lush, would have got rid of the burst too! Good job mate
16. ive asked to take some more pics n ill get themuploaded when I can but im MASSIVLY hungover right now so im going back to bed.
17.
Do you happen to know the approximate weight of this bass? Does it neck dive at all? Cheers!
Nahh, no neck dive, sits quite well to say the least.
18.
I think this is the bass Jobiebass brought with him when he bought an amp from me a while ago. If so, its the lightest 'ray I've played by a considerable margain. Very nice colour too!
Yeah Same bass Simon, I weighed myself then weighed myself with the bass and its about 8.8lb give or take 0.1 which as they are supposed to be 10ish?, is pretty damn light.
