Video below shows the diff between a ray, the olp and the bongo though. But for some reason when I recorded it it gives a Wah sound for some reason. If you look closely though, bidder 2 pushed bidder 1 out of his price bracket, and now just pushed bidder 4 out. I hate when you cant see whos bid cause you know something dodgy is going off, Plus bidder 2 has only had his account less then a month. Ill put money on bidder2 is the seller, looks like he maxed out bidder4's bid then will offer 2nd chance offer on it if noone goes over what hes bid. Annoys me.

Im gonna be pretty straight here and I apologise if it offends anyone (dont think it will) I think a lot of bassists who dont make it or cant make it blame their tools, so they feel they need to get better and unique things to make a statement or stand out. a cab is a cab. and to the general jo public, it wont make a slight bit of diff. but to you and your eyes it does. Im guess (hoping) that the longer you play and the bigger you get, the more things like this dont matter so much, play with what your given and dont give a s**t as long as you cut through. This is all IMO, And im probably the worst for it, I spend more time looking at new gear then playing these days. But I dont have asperations to be a rock star. I just enjoy playing and learning, oh and spending lots of money on bass stuff I dont really want or need.

I bought Stoo's OLP 5HH (think thats the MM32) Enjoyed it tbh, I bought it to test the water for a musicman 5 as I already had a ernieball ray. mine was the double hum which was active with 5 way switching. made me want a propper one though. there is nothing better then EBMM stuff. built like a brick s**t house and you never need to upgrade them. No its not the same as a EBMM, but they are still pretty decent. Think of them like the Mex fenders, the japs being the subs. Selling mine if your interested, £200 (same price stoo was selling it for, I traded him for my Mex Fender Jazz)

Just bought a accoustic yesterday, gota sh*tty £60 thing off ebay, apart from the fact the frets arnt level and I had to adj the truss rod. its pretty loud, but im gonna struggle around a camp fire keeping up with guitards for noise at festivals.
