1. thats gonna look sweeeeeeeeeeet, cant wait to see the finished product!
2. 2nd message in a week to musicalboys123 which hasnt been replyed to, where the hell is my neck?
3. see, I went from the Swing Rotos to the Elixrs, I would never go back to Rotos now. Tone/feel/Brightness of the Elixrs are way superior IMHO. The coating of my Elixrs is starting to come off now and they still sound just as bright as ever. I wouldnt change them for the world. Plus, the Swing Rotos arnt as smooth as the elixrs, they dont like my fingers much and tear into them. Might just be me, But ive really gone off Roto's and since starting playing bass ive never used anything other then rotos till now.
4. normal rays of this quality would be 650-750 on evilbay, so how much are these worth then???? Wouldnt get one in black, but I love the metal flake + Matching heeadstock, and it has an extra knob to play with.
5. Ive got a 3eq EBMM 'Ray, and you cant go wrong with it. BUT I am looking to get a bongo HS or HH 5er to add to the collection. IMO go for the ray unless you want something uber light then get the stirling and if you want the tone go for the Bongo. 'Ray is the way forward though.
6. Heard so many people GAS'ing over P'basses recently. Is it just one of those things where someone says "I want one" and makes everyone else really want one? or have I missed something completly????? is it the sound? style? what are they so popular all of a sudden? *still figuring out what pups he should get for his P bass build*
7.
Its the old one - so 200w
PM'd
8. aughhh. my neck still aint turned up, ive had it sent to my parents house because I work away and they have gone off on holiday for 2 weeks now. Boooooo. wheres my neck!
9.
Definitely go for the bongo/ and or lessons. Buying more speakers just for the home will be a waste of money, I feel. Your Ashdown with one speaker isn't going to sound a whole lot different to Your ashdown with an extra 8 speakers if it's being played at the same volume. At least a new guitar that you want will be tangible and something you can experience is worth the money you spent on it.
Your right, its rare I go to the practice room now-a-days anyway to warrent having it louder. Ive only bought a Stingray a month or so back and ive got a unlined fretless being built (when the neck eventually turns up) so I think im ok for basses at the mo, although I do want a 5er and I think bongo is the way forward. Im sure if I could find one in a shop to play id walk out with it with a nice dent in my creditcard.
10. Yeah I dont plan on gigging with it and I know I really dont need anything louder, But I get bored to tears at work and have nothing better to do then GAS over anything and everything, I work away from home so its always nice to buy something with my "hard" earnt money on the weekend. My Current GAS list is 5string Bongo, pedals with names on ill never use and every upgrade under the sun for my work in progress P bass. TBH I just want something to piss my neighbours off and to look/sound good when im home on the weekend. "In that case I wouldn't bother getting anything else, your existing combo should be more than sufficient for your needs. Spend the spare cash on lessons instead!" Alex I messaged someone from here the other day about lessons, I think after 2 years of learning bad habbits its about time to learn from someone who knows what they are doing. hopefully should start soon, the only person who's taught me anything about bass is a mate who mainly a Guitard, but an instrumentalist all the same. ( I do get a few hours practice a day though, nothing else to do in hotel rooms after work ) *Waits for a hooker joke*

13. hey hows it going. Im a total noob when it comes to amps/cabs. Used a 15wat thing for years and it wasnt till I bought a new one I realised how terrible it sounded, the tone was perthetic etc. I bought an EB 15-180 EVO II Combo which is pretty good, infact. its awesome for me. But where do I go from here? can I add a cab to it or would I need to buy a head and cab(s) If I could add a cab to it then which do I go for? Id like to stick to ashdown although I do like the look of the Markbass cabs (altho never heard them) I dont plan on gigging with it, 2x10? 4x10? any help would be great.
14. Id give my left ball to have that white sparkle. Thats beautiful!!!
15. woah, whats the last bass? Love the Led's and huh.... coloured strings?????????????????? man, your giving me so much gass its not fair. what strings are they? and the led's standard or that a new neck???
16. FFS!!!!!! why have I never heard of piezo before? I guess its a ray with metal flake, matching headstock and extra knob. whats that other nob do? I have no clue but I really really really want it! lol. I want a metal flake 'Ray. No fair. GAS!!!!!!! oh and the white jazz, whats that around the neck?? like a white line. does it come like that? same with the black line on the Squire, or is that something you have done? cause it looks awesome.
17. As a general rule, if they are in ok condition bass's normally go for about 50-75% of their new price, depending how sort after they are this can change. P bass's are going for quite a lot at the moment as there is a big demand for them (not sure why) And Stingrays seam to be flooding the market and going for quite cheep. If your gonna sell them on Fleebay and you didnt want to figure out how much they are worth, bang them on at 50% and see what people will pay for them. even if you get 50% of the new price, its money in your pocket. Could try selling them in the forums too.
18.
What jobs do you guys do that allows you to view ebay links during the day?? I'm in the wrong line of business. Either that or the IT department here are over zealous.
Im a Sanctions Investigator for a large UK bank (sorry im not allowed to say which one due to the sensitive nature of my job) So im here finding terrorists all day and arm dealers... and on ebay w00p
19.
£52 with a day to go? There's a guy selling them new for just £7 more. I can spot a business opportunity here - I'm off to buy some red emulsion!
Dont forget to take off the strings and the scratchplate and replace the potcover with a 1mm thin piece of ill fitting plastic!! But wait, set the action really low on the E string and put some paper under there to get rid of the fretbuzz.
20. I really dont need to put ANY text to this link at all... thats that good.. Rebel Custom Bass check the clear pot cover! 21. anyone else got a BAii bridge for sale?
22. Jobiebass

SOLD

dont, please. I cant afford it and I really want one of jons bass's. ive got myself into far too much debt over gas this last year. Can someone please buy this quick so I dont start having nightmares about my credit card statements. cant believe you only want £300 for it. its a Steal!
23. I played one of these on the weekend and I really love them. its a shame im looking to sell my bass not buy another. Awesome bass though, I couldnt get hang of no lines either, but sounds awesome! I found that H Flat minor key too. I can normally get it spot on untill I move my fretting hand up the neck and then im screwed. If someone can play unlined then id really suggest this bass, I dont like warwicks but I love this one. swap for a fretless lined MIM jazz??
24. thought VAT had to be paid by the buyer when it gets shipped. mehh.. my bad. might get one myself now! lol
