2.
Any interest in this fine sounding, if rather heavy, cab?
willing to discuss lower price - I've been to music live today and need to fund the purchases! How about £100?
 3. I'm going today - how do I recognise fellow basschatters? Is there a secret handshake - no, wait that would only work if we introduced our selves. Is there a funny walk (no doubt induced by carrying heavy rigs around) Hope to meet some of you. Oh, and I'm looking for a cab to sit under my ebs neo210 to lift the bottom end (sound-wise, not height-wise ) - any suggestions? Any deals at the show? Cheers Martin
 4.
I had one of these Dave - it also had the NTMB preamp. Fantastic bass at a great price this.
+1 for the 55-01 - I think I've got your old one (candy apple red). If I had the cash I'd buy this one, although maybe I don't really need a spare! And the price for this one is a deal.

 7.
TBH Dave after abing with a MB LM II I found the GK had it on sound, Im just trying to make my rig as small as possible. I will also take cash offers now.
price guide?
 8.
Still going if anyone's interested.
interested, but no spare money at the mo - have a bump on me!
 9.
Something above 300watts as you may damage the speakers or the amp if you push it too hard. The TVX 4X10 would be a good cab or the PRO 4X10 both @ 4ohm you could crank that amp without fear then! You could always add another 4ohm cab afterwards too to use the full 450w from the amp.
and I want to sell my Peavey TVX410, it's a 4 ohm cab, and works well with the max450 (that's what I use it with). Open to reasonable offers. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=7293
 10. ED-1 sold (subject to cheque arriving)
 11.
+1 for the Tribal Planet products - excellent quality!
But I can't find anyone who sells them in the UK. I've emailed the UK distributor, but no response yet. The guy on ebay won't be having any more.
 12.
Found aroundabout sound today after living in Cheltenham for seven weeks, great place even managed to finally play a KSD, which i loved but sadly cant afford!
yup - they're definitely the best shop around this area, and all the guys in there can play too (maybe that's why it's the best shop?) Best for drums is probably cheltenham soundhouse, just up the road. Martin (the owner) is pretty handy on the kit. I'll probably be corrected on that one by any drummers reading this, although there probably won't be any so I'm safe!
 13.
MB1. I find a price and location often helps your sale sir!
Price drop on 4th november - - only £100 ahha - just testing. Located near gloucester, looking for around £150. and no mention of dealers or bags this time MB!
 14. Hi, Here is my Peavey TVX410 for sale. 350 watts rms, 4 ohms. Great sound, just too heavy for me to move on my own. Cheers Martin

 17.
MB1. Martin, wrong sort of bags, wrong sort of dealers mate........There was a joke there originally honest!
ok, I totally didn't pick up on that
 18. so has anyone researched the cheapest place to buy an mpbt1 from?
 19.
MB1. Sorry!....Thought you were after the names of dealers in Gloucester??
no worries - I think I've visited all the dealers around gloucester during the last 3 years, aroundabout sound is definitely the best for bass. I popped in today, but they don't have any decent gig bags in stock, only entry level (which I already have). I'll keep watching davesaccessories on ebay. Thanks for all your replies. Cheers Martin
 20.
Not sure if you can view these posts but if this link works there is a fair bit on this. http://www.finnbass.com/showthread.php?t=1...ighlight=gigbag This is the feller on ebay and it would be worth keeping an eye on what is coming up as they seem to sell them from time to time for good prices - if you can be patient. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GX40-B-Electri...c mdZViewItem
Hi BeLow, Can't view the posts on finnbass - need to register. The ebay link is broken - can you check please? Cheers Martin
 21.
Dont buy this one!! Its the guitar version and also only the gx15 now I think thats the lighter model but Im also sure the price isnt that different from the GX40 so it depends what level of protection you want. But you want the (if you want the strong one) GX40B Strangely the B stands for bass...
yup, already worked out I want a GX40B - I found the Tribal website, but no links to uk dealers. Music Essentials seem to be the uk distributor, but they don't have any links to retailers. I've sent an amail to davesmusicaccessories via ebay, so I'll see what that brings. cheers Martin
 22.
Aroundabout Sound is the best shop going, they don't stock lakland but im sure you could get they man in there to get you one
I often visit Mark at aroundabout sound - but it's a case I'm after, already have a Lakland I agree they're the best shop locally, but not much range of cases (like most shops it appears) cheers Martin
 23.
I agree with bassBod. I've never been to a shop with an actual good aray of gig bags especialy for bass. Plus near gloucester no chance nearest I would say is PMT in birmingham or soundcontrol birmingham. But then again dont remember there been a large range at either. Onlines the way forwards. Id go with a tribal planet GX40.
Thanks for all the replies. I like the look of the tribal planet gx40, but so far I haven't been able to find an on-line dealer selling them - ebay doesn't show any at the moment. Any idea who might be selling them on-line? Cheers Martin
 24. Hi Folks, I've been promised a new gig bag for my Lakland for my birthday, but the local shops don't have much choice. Can anyone recommend a shop in a 40 mile radius of gloucester which stocks a decent range of gig bags (and preferably doesn't charge the earth). I been trawling the net for a couple of hours, but haven't really come up with any shops, and I want to 'try before I buy' so don't really want to buy on-line. Also, any thoughts on which gig bags to look at? Ritter, Gator etc? Cheers Martin
