5.
Look at this on eBay: MURDER ONE SUB MINI AMP HEAD; for zvex nano fans; UK made + 12v power supply http://bit.ly/V4aLeh
ooh. If it weren't Christmas. Bargain or what. Thanks for sharing
 6. That murder one amp from frequency central is very gas inducing but totally unjustifiable , although I thi k the fun you could get playing it at home would eventually justify the cost for the sheer pleasure
 7. Showaddywaddy hey mr Christmas Greg lake. I believe in Father Christmas Mike oldfield on horseback Steeleye span All around my hat Wings. Wonderful. Xmas time I also consider a lot of songs Xmas songs that make me think of Xmas like bohemian rhapsody, we are the champions, mull of kintyre that were strong in the charts at Xmas and remind me of when I was little. A lot are being shown in the totp reruns at the moment and its a real treat
 8.
Any and ALL Christmas songs are either a cynical attempt to cash-in, or a cynical attempt to raise the profile of the contributing artist (in the case of charity singles) If the artists were that convinced of their songs' validity, they'd put them on their mainstream albums. Consider also that whilst they MAY have been written during the Christmas period, I bet they're not recorded at Christmas... I can just see a load of disingenuous muso types trying to be festive in a sweaty studio in the middle of summer...
roy woode and wizard recording oiwicbced

 10.
Meet the VT Bass 1000 and VT Bass 1969 (VT Bass with a power amp) as well as the Landmark 300 (Bass Driver DI with a power amp). Not exactly small amps, but they're Tech 21's Sansamp Amps, which makes no sense whatsoever but who cares. Liam
wow these look like they will deliver the goods, the guitar amps I saw though were combos in a classic style, enough to give you an attack of GAS
 11.
I think this is the one I saw ISTR seeing something along those lines in the for sale here a short while ago... Edit: found it... http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1 Can't see what the asking price was, as the OP has removed it (grrrr...) but according to the link in the post they're 150 quid new.
12.
I've always liked the valve sound but these days you simply dont need real valves to get it. A sans amp bass driver DI for example is at least in sonic terms a miniature "valve" amp, seriously you cannot tell it apart from a real valve circuit and it has all the advantages of being a small lower power reliable solid state device.
hi yes I like those Sansamp devices, I was merely looking at the little amps as a diversion I find them quite interesting and they do look awesome, unfortunately they are too expensive to buy as a toy but it is great to look at these mini marvels. Thanks for your input on the Sansamp I do love these too and may buy one on here one day when I have got other stuff I need, funnily enough I have read good reports of the behringer bdi21 which is supposed to do a good job of copying the Sansamp for under £30. Also on eBay I recently saw some small guitar amps by tech 21 using their sansamp technology they were lovely looking units be Wesome if they had done a bass one
 13.
This was it: http://www.dc-developments.com/cornell_PedalAmp.htm looks nice, but PRICEY!!!! £690!!!
thanks so much I've had a look at the company page , and will look forward to reading the article later, 690 is a crazy price for sure, I do like to look at these though the design of them looks great they are like mini functional pieces of art, and a great bit of fun. Thank you again best wishes for the festive season. ... Paul
 14. Cool amp , well done on getting it replaced and keeping the freebie, that is great service
 15. Was it on here that I saw some reasonable price valve amps that were tiny , like the size of a large foot pedal. I am not thinking of buying one yet as I need a main amp first but I would be interested to see them. I am sure they were about £150 I think I have seen some about £250 - £ 299 but seems a bit steep for your average joe to use as a recording/practise aid. Just asking as they piqued my interest. I like the look of the mini valve audio amps that have turned up on eBay from Hong Kong too. I used to have a trio jr 300 or 600 ham radio rx and it was a treat when it was running you could see all the valves through the vent holes or lift the lid up. No synthesiser noise generated either so it was very quiet enabling you to hear people that would not be heard above the background noise of a newer set

 19. It's another irreplaceable character gone, does anyone remember him on the program gamesmaster too where he played the gamesmaster how bizarre . Any votes for Brian cox as a replacement ( not that he can be replaced but you know what I mean)
 20. That trailer is indeed a teaser, I want the whole bl#*dy film now, no mention of release dates and availability yet. Would have been a great Xmas pressie
 21. Wow this is great , what brilliant kids, that cello is awesome, they sound great doing Vivaldi , I loved that you could hear the birds singing in the film, even though the people were living in such poor conditions it was uplifting to hear the birds twittering in the background, so glad they are able to enjoy making music with these wonderful instruments
 22. Jazz III. Are great you can also get one in a purple tortex type of material
 23. Yeah all the early stuff, my fave is mystery song but I love a lot of others equally like down down, paper plane, raotw and caroline
