Selling my entire rig together in order to down size ! both head and cab are in perfect nick, I have never used the set-up to gig, meaning that the cab in particular is as good as brand new. Amp and cab come with coverings. The Markbass head is rack mountable on its own but comes mounted in an SKB case for gigs. The cab comes with a made to measure Roqsolid soft case (with hard front) for safe transportation. The set-up is capable of high volume and crisp clear tone, both head and cab are 4ohm. Worth mentioning that the Ashdown is made in England and uses neo magnets, consequently ALOT lighter than the majority of 2x12s. I'm pretty sure you couldn't get a better set-up for the asking price. Due to obvious size and weight, collection would be best. £500.00. [email protected] -

Hi all, I need some advice about upgrading the 'precision style pickup' on a BB 424. From wjat Iv read the blade type pickup found in the 1024 model is a decent improvement on the standard 'pole' type that comes with the 424. I have asked Yamaha and can get hold of the replacement pickup, but, I was wondering if there would be any issue with switching the standard factory pickup for the 1024 version and if I can use all the same screws and fittings? Also I was wondering if swapping the upgraded bridge for the 1024 version would make any difference? Finally, is the precesion style pickup sold as two seperate parts or so both chunks of plastic come together? If anyone can help with any of the above id be very grateful! Cheers.

Hello chaps, I'd Like some advice on rack mounting cases. I have just acquired a MarkBass S450. Seem's pretty good so far with my Ashdown LB212! The head is in a third party rack case - which is quite a big chunk of plastic. Is it the done thing to just go without the rack mount case? Or is there any smaller cases ....or has anyone made one ?! Basically I'm just a bit lazy and want to get away with things being as small and light a I can possibly get away with. Cheers! - Also has anyone had any experience of the MB S450,? What did/do you think?
