  1. Possible trade for Squier Bass V1 with some cash your way. 👍😀👍
  2. Here is my MIK lovely Greg Curbow 5 string fretless. I bought it on a whim earlier in the year from my friend to give it a try. Big mistake! 5 strings (Buggeration Too many Strings😜🤣😜). Fretless (Why would l think l could do that😜😳😜). Then l got Arthritis and even if l could have l can’t now! So it has to go. As mentioned it is a: MIK Cort Curbow Greg Curbow Series. (2009) 5 String Fretless. Burlwood Luthite Body. Maple neck with Ebanol Finger board with side dots. 35" Scale Length. MightyMite pickup. Active 3 band eq. This is an active bass. The switch is Slap/Contour, not Active/Passive. 3.2 kg on my bathroom scales. New Gear4Music padded gig bag. I live in Catterick village near Richmond,North Yorkshire and prefer cash on collection. I am happy to post at the buyers expense and prefer it if you arrange your own courier. No trades thanks. I’m struggling with Arthritis and everything except my Mikro bass has to go. I would like £325 ONO please.
  3. Hiya Tom Thanks mate, it's a real problem as you know and restricts most things that l want to do. Take care Tom, Best wishes
  4. PM’s replied to and bass now on hold.
  5. Here is my excellent Sire U5. Another very reluctant sale due to Osteoarthritis. This bass is lovely to play and it sounds and looks amazing. The bass has: 30” scale length. North American Alder body with Flamed Maple veneer top and cream body binding. Maple neck with lovely smooth satin finish. Maple fretboard with rolled edges and a 9.5 radius. Tradional bridge with threaded saddles. Precision and Jazz style pickups. The weight is 3.5 kg on my bathroom scales. I would like £250 ono please and no trades thanks. I live in Catterick village and prefer cash on collection. I will post at the buyers expense but would prefer it if you arrange your own courier, it’s more straightforward. I will put the original control knobs back before it goes to a new owner.
  6. Thank you very much 👍
  7. Hiya I have/had my Gretsch Junior Jet11 up for sale and l can’t find or trace it. I’ve searched with no joy. Can someone help me please? Thanks Mike👍
  8. Thanks Pete Yes it’s painful and frustrating. Cheers. Mike
  9. Here is my very nice 2019 GRETSCH short scale bass. It’s almost unmarked with just some light play wear and pick marks on the scratch plate. This is a lovely light, well balanced and easy to play bass that sounds amazing. Here’s a few details: Gretsch G2220 Junior Jet11 30” short scale bass lovely Walnut stain finish Black Walnut fret board Bass wood body Maple neck with 20 frets and 12” radius 2 Gretsch single coil pickups Gretsch G-Arrow control knobs I’m selling all of my basses except my Mikro bass due to having Osteoarthritis and finding playing really difficult and painful. I don’t want any trades thanks. The bass currently has Wilkinson machine heads on, these will be coming off and I’ll reinstall the original Gretsch ones. I live in Catterick Village, North Yorkshire and prefer cash on Collection. I’m also happy to pack the bass for a courier but prefer it if the buyer arranges their own. It’s much more straightforward. Thanks for looking. I would like £225 ONO please.
  10. For some reason £3,000 comes up at the start of the post. It’s definitely not that price. It’s £300 Ono.
  11. This is my extremely lovely Candy Apple Red Jazz bass. The best colour combo in my opinion. It’s in really excellent condition with no bangs, dings, knocks or scrapes. It has: Vintage style CTS pots. A lovely PIO capacitor. I think Tonerider pickups. I’m not 100% but the sound and wiring suggest this. Weight on my bathroom scales 4kg. The bass has a lovely low action with no rattles or flat spots. It looks, sounds and plays amazingly. The bass balances really well on a strap. I really don’t want to sell this but I’m struggling with Osteoarthritis on my left thumb knuckle. I’m currently having to play a Mikro bass and even struggle with my short scale. I live in Catterick Village and would prefer cash on collecting. I’m happy to post and prefer it if the buyer can arrange their own courier. It’s more straightforward. I don’t want any trades thanks. I would like £300 ONO please.

    Hiya Chris

I’m sorry to have to bother.  I’ve just posted my Precision for sale.  Unfortunately the post has gone very strange.  The first picture which is of my Great Grand daughter shouldn’t be there, l don’t know what l did.  Secondly all of my pictures of the bass are down below my text that nobody will find them. Again l don’t know how l managed that.  I’ve tried to correct it nut no look.  Could you help me out please?

    Thanks

    Mike

No problem, all sorted I think. I’m on holiday so using my phone, it looks ok to me now but if not please PM a mod. Cheers!

Not quite, the thumbnail was still showing the distinctly non bass-like pic, but I should have sorted that now :)

  13. Here is my excellent 1989 Squier Precision. This is a really lovely bass. It looks, sounds, plays and feels great. Yes, it's made of plywood. It's light and well balanced and the Olympic White has aged to a gorgeous creamy white. It has a Fender headstock decal applied very well by the previous owner but it's a Squier. It weighs 3.7 kg approx. The bass has Fender Custom 60's pickups CTS pots and Orange Drop cap Schaller machine heads Hosco slotted Bridge saddle Tortoise shell scratch plate from MD guitars l I would prefer cash on collection from Catterick Village please. No trades thanks. I would like £250
  14. Thank you Mark👍
  15. Morning Has anyone got experience of Retrovibe basses, specifically the T30? They look very nice and on the only YouTube video l could find it sounded nice. It would be nice to have some first hand information if possible. I'm having to go short scale because of a worn thumb knuckle problem and this bass looks really nice and a bit different. Thanks Mike

  17. Hiya Tom It's a lovely bass mate and very easy to play. I can bring it over if you fancy trying it. Cheers. Mike
  18. Here's my excellent Ibanez Mezzo medium scale bass in a lovely light metallic blue. I bought this recently to see if l could manage it with my Carpal Tunnel problem but l can't so it's my Ibby Mikro and short scale for me. The bass is light, well balanced on a strap and plays and sounds lovely. It's an active bass and has a gig bag. I live in Catterick Village, North Yorkshire and would prefer cash on collection. I'm happy to pack it properly for posting but prefer it if you arrange your own courier. I don't want any trades thank you. I paid £225 for it and would like that or a very near offer please.
