    Fitted a Retrovibe Stinger kit to my back up Musicman Sub, totally transformed the soundn\tone, this has no way de-valued the bass, it now sounds closer to my original Musicman main bass.

    It’s really strange his “band friends” have no idea what’s going on, I know where all our band members live and if one of them was in the same situation, I would be popping round to see if anything was wrong, it would seriously give me concerns if they had dropped off the radar.

    The starting point for any new cover song suggestion, is can the vocalist manage it, is it comfortably within their vocal range, does it require a key change that still works with the song. You can have the best musicians in a band, but if the vocalist is struggling (murdering a song), the band will always sound poor.

    I was only just watching a documentary on The Hollies on Sky Arts last week, Graham Nash was talking about leaving the band and moving to the USA, he described his first meeting with David Crosby, pure magic, it just clicked.
