Just ordered the Stinger kit for a right handed bass, sorry but I don’t understand the bit about series/parallel switch you have mentioned.

Just ordered the Retrovibe Stinger kit, hopefully a good £74 well spent to make my Sub sound a bit more like my original Stingray, love the walnut satin look and playability of the Sub, just not happy with the sound it produces, too distorted for me.

Paul Rogers is regarded as one of the best Blues/Rock vocalists, considering his age, he still sings the Free and Bad Co stuff in the original keys when performing live, probably sounding better than ever. Most of the rock vocalists his age now have shagged voices and can hardly perform or need to change the song keys to suit their fading vocals. Have to totally disagree on your comments, hey, but each to their own.

He is one of my bass heroes, fantastic player, lots of space. I played in a Free tribute band for a few years, one of the highlights of my bass playing career. I purchased an EB3 especially for this band, pretty much hated playing the thing, neck dive and awful to play compared to my MM Stingray.
