Currently on Sky Arts, Queen concert filmed in 1974, when they were a real rock band. Really good footage and sound for the time, fantastic tracks from their early albums.

From four years ago, Ian Astbury of The Cult doing a fabulous job of vocals for the reformed Doors. Astbury also looks uncannily like the late Jim Morrison. -
Some VERY good news at last - live music back by the Spring?

It’s a choice we will all have to make, I personally think there will be restrictions on people that don’t opt for it, I can definitely see know one being allowed to travel outside of their own country without being vaccinated, I can see some sort of health passport coming into force. -

Pfizer social club. -
I think the Brian Johnson (AC/DC) on the road interview series are really good, seen the Mark Knopfler and Dave Grohl ones and watched the recent one with Roger Daltrey. Some of the ones coming up are, Sting, Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers, Nick Mason, Mick Fleetwood and a few more I can’t remember. Brian comes over as a great bloke and so down to earth, makes a great interviewer.

Played there a few times in the 80’s, good live venue. Its a real shame it’s closing down, sadly it will be one of many due to this damn 🦠 -
Just got home from our last band get together/rehearsal, that’s it now for at least four weeks. 🦠🦠🦠☹️

The toughest bit is not the main part of that song, it’s the bass fill/solo right at the song intro, getting all the right notes in the correct order.

Are you still able to continue rehearsing with Tier 3 being implemented up in your area ? -
I was over in SW Florida in 2007, I visited Sam Ash music store in Sarasota, I could have picked up a new Ray for $1200, the exchange rate at the time was two dollars to the pound, £600 !! I still kick myself for not buying one at the time.

I have a teal one, I think you let yours go too cheap, mine has been my only bass and has been gigged for many years, still in almost mint condition, don’t think I would ever consider selling it.
