  1. I also heard that, I cannot see any gigs happening while this is still in force.
  2. They did one of these on Planet Rock last week, the performances and vocal quality was way better than most of the featured artists last night.
  3. I personally think 2020 is a no go for gigs, I’m the person in our band that gets all the gigs, it’s a double ball ache for me as I think of how hard work it was to get all our gigs for this year and they are all vanishing. I also see a problem booking for 2021 as I would normally be approaching the venues in September/October this year, at this rate they will not be open so not contactable. When the live music venues/pubs do open in say 2021, there will be a mad rush to book in bands as nothing would have been booked in advance. I really hope my thoughts on this are wrong.
  4. Take it out of the box and then blast it with a jet washer. 😀
  5. Heard this on Planet Rock this morning, this track has passed me by, hadn’t heard it before, Joey B an absolute masterclass in guitar playing, stunning.
  6. There are four of us in our band, all have different professions and mix with lots of people through work on a daily basis. We have the luxury of our own very spacious rehearsal studio (no one else uses it), but there is still no way, even though we are all good mates, would we even consider rehearsing together.
  7. Personally, I think bands practicing is a no no in the current situation.
  8. Is the company based between Soham and Newmarket ?
  9. It’s closed doors for the Queen Vic, the Woolpack and the Rovers Return then.
  10. Bo Jo has now informed clubs, theatres and pubs are to be closed until further notice from tonight, all gigs will definitely now be off.
  11. Guitarist started the intro riff at the correct tempo, when the rest of the band kicked in the tempo sped up and carried on speeding up, luckily for you it was at the correct tempo to start 👍
  12. In the current situation it looks sadly, that you will be busier than usual.
  13. At least you won’t have to worry about the skull guitar anymore.
  14. Just listening to it, yep, that will be us not gigging for the foreseeable.
  15. Two. MM Stingray 4 string in teal. MM Sub in Walnut.
  16. 23rd November 1971 Trapeze (Glenn Hughes) played at a local pub .
  17. I was the guitarist in Iron Maiden, but I left before they made it big time.
  18. If it excludes strings and leads, I could do nine years. I’m totally happy with my MarkBass amplification and my MM Stingray, had them for years, nothing barring them falling apart would warrant me replacing them. If it’s anything relating to my motorcycle, then that’s another matter.
