Several years ago our drummer put in his notice as he wanted to concentrate on his other band for corporate gigs. Steve our guitarist said he had someone in mind who would do an excellent job of replacing him, I turned up for the first rehearsal to find our new drummer was Jeff Rich ex Status Quo.
