They must have had a bad night, I’ve seen them twice with the new vocalist and they were spot on. Can’t agree on Whitesnake, the band were great but Coverdales vocals were sh*te, he’s lost it, doing the usual vocalist cheat, pointing his microphone out towards the audience on the high stuff. Thunder on the same gig as Whitesnake and they were brilliant.

Get his wife to join the band 😀

Annoying, it’s sounds like an absolute nightmare. So many of them in one band, life is too short to waste with these people.

Just found this concert on YouTube. The Dukes of September (2014) Three legends on stage together, Donald Fagen, Boz Scaggs and Michael McDonald. Backed by a killer band with an awesome guitarist called Jon Herrington. This is really classy stuff played by top notch musicians.

Just been listening to Living Colour on the radio, forgot what an excellent band they are. Used to play Love Rears Its Ugly Head in a rock band I was in many years ago, a cracking song to play.

Yeh, most of our tribute gigs we just played it 22 times, one after another - easy for me 🤩🤩

What a response. I didn’t say it was all women, we just had bad experiences with all the ones we tried and some were great vocalists, we decided after those issues we would only go down the male vocalist route and base our songs around that. I played in a Free tribute band for several years, you tell me how a female vocalist would have fronted the band?

What do you mean it sucks. The type of bands I have played in over the last ten years and the genre of music we play, we have absolutely no requirement for for female vocalists - fact.

So the young generation have got everything correct ?

I’m not sure if the content in your first paragraph is trying to be condescending, forgive me if it isn’t. We dealt with the females as we would have with any males, why should it be any different ?

Simple maths, if their readership is the older age group, the readers are nearer to death and circulation figures will continue to fall. Same with Readers Digest.

Over the years our personal experience of auditioning or working with female vocalists has brought nothing but hassle, maybe we just chose some bad ones, this is not sexist, just fact in our case, so we would not be interested.
