1.
Where's Kirsty ?
Here she is:
 2.
Indeed. Very surprised by the lack of interest, especially as these are completely out of stock in Europe for the next few months!
Probably plenty of interest but a lack of readies!
 3. The Mustang needs a 32in set to allow for the extra length passing through the body.
 4.
Is the short scale baron sold that he taken I kid not an angle grinder to the bridge.....
Twincam, you are starting to talk like the Google translation in your signature!
 5. 4 - see signature. It's the Precisions that see most of the action!
 6. I find Capo (Mac only) incredibly useful as a transcribing and practice tool. I've been transcribing in one form or another since my first year of guitar playing. I sometimes pull out transcriptions I have done years ago and realise how much better my ear has become.
 7.
Alembicized Guild Starfire, and, I'm guessing, probably Pyramid Gold strings, Versatone Pan-O-Flex combo, Fender Dual Showman with 2x15 ...
I worry that there aren't enough controls on that bass...
 8. Definitely try boosting the mids a bit, or indeed a lot - the bass guitar's 'voice' actually lies somewhere in the mid range. Boosting the treble may not be so effective, as you can't boost what isn't there - depends a lot on the string, and I haven't tried La Bellas (yet).
 9. When I ran my own band, we never played so loud that I had to put earplugs in. I believe that is the optimum setup at which the OP is hinting. When I dep with other bands, I set my levels to work with the band and then make a decision about earplugs. Sometimes they don't go in until after a couple of numbers, or even the second set.
 10. Mrs Axe got this for Christmas. I liked the 'Hello' single but the album grates - I just want it to stop!
 11. It may help if you draw out a 'route map' of the song. It doesn't have to be fully written in music notation or tab. Maybe rough out the chords for the first verse and chorus, and note down any variations that come later, plus stops and repeats. This can work particularly well if you have the kind of memory that operates visually.
 12.
Cheap look alike of Scott's glove also included in sale.
No that's the right hand. You need a glove on the left hand for the Special Scott Devine Sound(TM).
 13.
The PF800's are not as unreliable
A ringing endorsement of Ampeg Class D amps there!
 14.
Have you tried putting a different neck on it?
And then change the body.
 15.
bassdirect has a few 90s MIJ or CIJ at around £650.
Get along to Bass Direct and try them all. While you're there, try some Sandbergs.
 16.
What is a 'life hack'?
Life hacking refers to any trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method that increases productivity and efficiency, in all walks of life. -Wikipedia
 17. I refer the learned gentleman to this thread from 2102.
 18. Toilet Man(TM) has communicated his preference to you. That is all.
 19. Despite being a musical tart, I decline to play Agadoo or The Birdy Song. If you are unfamiliar with these tunes, do yourself a favour and don't search them out on YouTube!
 20.
I agree with the above, but unfortunately there are songs I just will not play and so I don't 'do' covers bands. They include, but are not limited to: Sex On Fire, All Right Now, Mustang Sally, Mr Brightside, Brown Eyed Girl, Sweet Home Alabama, All The Small Things, Get Lucky, Honky Tonk Woman, Brown Sugar, Play That Funky Music, Creep, Smoke On The Water, Hotel California, Superstition, Proud Mary, Wonderful Tonight, Born To Be Wild, Wonderwall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Moves Like Jagger... and yes, bleeding Summer of Fecking 69. There you have it. There are lots more but I can't think of them right now...
Well that's a set list that would go down well in any pub in the land!
 21. Last year's goals were to do with depping with lots of bands. Did that In 2 bands for 2016, so looking to make a go of both of those.
