  1. Now just £525 collected from Swindon (currently Tier 2). Happy to discuss socially distanced delivery/handover at nominal cost, but not in or to Tier 3.
  2. Ibanez SD9 Sonic Distortion 1980s MIJ Maxon-built This fantastic 1980s pedal has seen me through a lot of gigs and it has the paint chips to prove it. Nothing sounds like an SD9, just don't turn the tone control above 10 o'clock! I don't know whether the JRC4558D chip does makes that much difference, but it is present and correct. Please note this is very much a guitar pedal - it is unlikely to retain enough low end in a bass guitar signal unless you are using some clever parallel distortion Royal-Blood-type setup. I have recently replaced all the electrolytic caps (which degrade with age and were causing a switching problem) and the battery connector, and the pedal is now fit for another 35 years of filthy fun. I am only selling this as lack of gig income has severely curtailed my fun money. Yours for £80 delivered mainland UK. At least until I change my mind...
  3. That is pure filth! Well done (and to your tech).
  4. When I received my Super Twin I immediately noticed that the corners of those metal protectors are exposed within the mouth of the port. It’s not somewhere I would normally grab onto to lift or manoeuvre a cab, but I remember making a mental note to keep my fingers out of there! When assessing product safety, two of the factors to consider are the maximum severity of injury, and the likelihood of the user spotting the hazard. I have just had a careful feel of these corners on my own cab. I reckon one of them is sharp enough to break the skin in the OP’s scenario, the other probably not. Neither has remnants of swarf. I also reckon I am in the minority in spotting the hazard. The metal corners look like off-the-shelf parts. There would be a cost in either specifying better-fitting corners or modifying them to suit. In the end it is a commercial decision for Barefaced, balancing increased manufacturing cost against the impact of claims for personal injury.
  5. Fender solved this many years ago with a strap button on the back of the headstock.
  6. I've saved the layout for possible future use 🖤
  7. I’d love to build one of those but I think I’d use a different box so as to put the valves above the chassis.
  8. Yours for just £130. That's as low as I go folks.
  9. Just search: panel fuse holder 250V and you’ll get loads of matches. Compare to photos of your amp’s rear panel and look for a visual match.
  10. The caps are not sold separately, they come with the fuse holder body. I suggest buying 2 or 3 different ones from eBay. If the cap fits... you’re golden!
  11. An incredibly versatile 'Swiss Army knife' pedal that isn't getting the use it deserves from me. The high quality effects will be familiar from the G3 and G5. You can set up the single foot switch to switch just one effect, switch all the effects after a certain point, or cycle through a number of presets. You can read the full spec here as well as find links to Zoom's Effect Manger software, with which you can choose which effects to install via your PC or Mac. The pedal is in excellent condition, having been used only in my smoke-free studio. It has been updated to firmware version 3 and comes boxed with manual and USB cable. It requires 500mA from a 9V power supply and I will also include 2 Alkaline AA batteries to get you through your first 7 hours. Price is £55 delivered in the UK. No trades thanks! I'll let Brett Kingman give you an overview of its use as a direct device (which is how I used it): ...and as a stomp box into an amp:
