Fender Custom Shop '62 Precision pickup Boxed with fixing screws and black covers. Cloth-covered wires (which have not been shortened). Bought new form Strings Direct about a year ago and fitted to one of my P's with great results. Although the blurb on the box states 'flush pole pieces', they do project about 1mm from the covers. Hipshot BT2 Bass Xtender (De-Tuner) in Nickel finish. Hipshot's own information is not the clearest - their website describes the BT2 as being a fit for USA Fenders 1967-1982, and the BT10 as fitting Japanese Fenders. I have a BT10 on my recent MIJ Mustang, but this BT2 was a perfect fit on my 2004/5 CIJ Precision! Each BT series Bass Xtender corresponds to a similarly numbered HB series regular tuning key - there is a link to the fixing dimensions [url="https://www.hipshotproducts.com/files/all/hbtuners.pdf"]here[/url]. Please be 100% sure that you have the right product before paying your money over. The tuner is in excellent condition, complete in its packaging, with mounting screws and replacement ferrule (which I didn't need to use). [b]£50 [/b]delivered in the UK. -

GAS is a cruel mistress, and though I love having a choice of 3 Precisions at any one time, one of them now has to go in order to fund the next big thing... This is a lovely example of the highly-regarded 'Crafted in Japan' instruments, which those in the know imported into the UK a few years back. It is a reissue of a '57 Precision, with a maple fretboard, and finished in candy apple red, topped off with an anodised metal scratch-plate. The neck is lacquered but not draggy at all (unlike my USA '63 RI!) It is all original except for an upgrade to a KiOgon wiring loom. The original loom is included in the sale. It comes complete with the pickup and bridge covers. The R serial number prefix dates the bass to 2004-2005. Considering its age, and the fact that I have played it a fair bit, it is in very good nick. In addition to small wear marks here and there, I would like to draw your attention to the following minor wear/damage: - Scratchplate - mark near truss rod adjuster, small mark on treble side; - Body - paint ding in the treble-side cutaway level with 19th fret, long but shallow scratch on back; - Headstock - approx 1cm abrasion to edge opposite G-string tuner. Currently strung with some barely-used Fender round-wounds, gauge 0.045-0.105in. The bass comes with a knackered old case, provided purely to afford the best protection when transporting it, and in no way suitable for actually carrying around a bass guitar! I am looking for [b]£550[/b]. Price does not include delivery. I will weigh the bass at work tomorrow so that I can give an accurate quote for a courier. I am more than happy for you to come and try the bass at my home in Swindon, or pick it up in Oxford where I work. I do gig around the South of England, and a meet-up by prior negotiation is always a possibility. And here it is: -

I have 6x 6-ways running off a further 6-way plugged into the wall. About half the sockets are in use.The plug never even gets slightly warm.

Well here's my latest demo clip, the [url="https://cdn.bandmix.co.uk/bandmix_uk/media/292/292159/61205.mp3"]solo from Don't Speak[/url] by No Doubt. All the 'real' instruments went via my Cali76. Godin nylon-string Tele (rhythm) via Bassman model on Zoom MS-50G '73 Precision (with flats) via BDI21 - the original is much sizzlier (Stingray?) but these clips are to demonstrate my playing ability, not replicate the originals to the last detail MIDI drums and cello EDIT: This is the [url="https://app.landr.com/library/tracks/48635b75-841b-4b10-8019-cd40b18b9116"]link[/url] for the LANDR-mastered version - not sure whether it will be accessible to others.

Used it last night to record a short clip with two different Precisions. Pleased to say you can hear the difference on the recording. Once I've finished tracking the other parts I'll post up a link.

I recently picked up a used BDI21 for £14.99 from Crack Converters in Redcar. They had quite a few useful/interesting/unusual bits of musical equipment in there, and a better range of amplification than most small music shops! I knew these had a good reputation, but I am unfeasibly chuffed with mine. I really like the way the sound thickens up as you raise the Drive control, without going into audible distortion until the last 1/4 turn. Some forum posts knock it for lacking mids, but to me it still gives a fatter sound than straight DI. I bought it mainly for home recording - until now my best recorded bass sounds have come form the transformer-balanced DI output of my Demeter head, but that normally lives in my gig gear cupboard downstairs, so it is not that handy when late-night recording inspiration strikes. I have yet to record with the BDI21, but I think this is going to be a winner.

[/quote] That happens at so-called Western clubs - they try to dress in the styles prevalent during the American Civil War, hold shoot-outs (with blanks), and undertake a flag raising and lowering ceremony synchronised to a live or recorded rendition of the American Trilogy (as made famous by one Elvis Presley). What 20th/21st century electrified folk music (i.e. country music) has to do with this I haven't a clue, but as long as they keep paying us I won't complain too much.
