Merci. The original and the best.
Getting used again in anger tonight at the main local live rock venue. Can't wait.

While I'm here, my attention was drawn on another forum to this pic of me from some time in the mid '90's.... before I lost my looks... and apparently before I could grow any chest hair.

ive got good news for you Rich, you never lost your looks buddy :)

COS YOU NEVER HAD ANY TO START WITH :) BAZINGA

  3. I use the bass terror 500H and SP212 rig with my Fender Jaguar and Ric 4003. The Ric being passive sounds awesome. But the Jag plays just as awesome. Due to the lack of EQ flexibility on the head, I feel the active circuit on the Jag gives me what I need.

Its in no way dull and sings the way it should through the amp. In fairness though it sounds really good through any amp being it solid, hybrid or all valve.

So I wouldnt be put off from this amp if you only own an active bass.

  4. I can understand asking folk what kind of different pickups there are,,,,I can understand asking what bridges to use...I can understand the big question of P-bass or jazz bass.

But come on to f***....asking what the best colour is!!!!!!!! Pick the one you like and buy it mate.

So if another band on the bill came up to you and asked if they could move some of your gear that was on stage either off stage or to another part of the stage because in it's current location it was a risk, would you?

if they asked first then thats cool as it would be my fault. However, as the OP states, they didnt have that courtesy.
