1. Hola chaps, a very quick question Does anyone have or had a peavey TNT 115 with the red front??? Must curious to see what the rms of these things as the info I'm getting online is conflicting. Some say 150watts at 8ohms. Some say 50watts at 8ohms :-/ I knew one of the fine bc'ers would know
2. A tad off topic. But is the other bass one of the modern classics?? If so can I ask how you find it??
3. I had the exact same model and colour and wished I never got rid of it mate. Lovely bass
4. I've had some lovely offers but nothing quite there to get me to part with this monster of a bass. The way things are looking and due to the basses I've knocked back I may subcontiously just not want to swap it wahahahahaha. Amazing tone pot for fat to zingy tone on 1 dial. Big dirty badass 2 bridge and of course that 51 body. Hmmmmm thing this is actually the bass I'm after lol
5. That would be great Andy. I don think I've ever tried one so something brand new for me :-)
6. A nice musicman, burns bison or a form of Pbass or jazz with active circuitry.
7. Lovely looking :-) Can't beat all black
8. Lovely looking this. :-)
9. Wow Peter, lovely bass matey :-)
10. I like the black on black. Very cool :-)
11. Hmm Andy as always I don't have a clue what I'm thinking :-/ I would be more than happy to keep this bass however I quite fancy seeing what is out there. As you know I have no allegiance to any make or model, so basically a well known bass with same reputation.
12. Withdrawn.
13. I think I will if its still available :-)
14. Is this pedal still available???
15. Hola guys, sorry I haven't been on the forum for a while. My band are gigging on the Saturday and have a studio booked for recording a wee demo on the Sunday so looks like I won't be able to make it. Really sorry and I hope you chaps have a great time :-)
16. Wow mate I am sorry your letting this go. I really love mine and have been loving it more and more each gig with my orange rig. I have zero cons on these basses and ALOT of pros Jez is 100% regarding the tone pot, this 1 dial is your 1 stop shop to all the sounds you get from your active basses, however it's sooooooo easy to get your sound rather than dicking about with treble, mid and bass cut and boosts. At this silly silly price I think Jez is actually insulting the bass, however for you lucky lot this is the steal of the year. I suggest someone buy this now and thank me later for the recommendation
17. Oh these basses look soooooo cool. I love the tele body and the double humbucker setup is sweeeeeet. One of these will be my next purchase once things settle down for me.
18. Also just to clarify I think these are the fugliest of the highest order
19. A don't get it. Whats the bass and what's wrong with it? I know it's April the 1st so no need to remind me of that aspect.
20.
I may make it a new rule that you can't post about new stuff unless it includes pics of it. And I mean your own pics not googled ones.
Haha, I like that rule
21. Yeah he is a decent member and hope he returns at some point. Like you say... One of the good ones:-)
22. Hey all, Just curious to know if anyone know what happened to the BC member The Funk? I had a few conversations and seemed like a really nice guy. So I'm just intersted if anyone knows him and see if he is still kicking about as he ain't logged on here since 2011.
23.
In the rehersal studio we use, I love the sound of a P through an Ashdown ABM and Ampeg 8x10 but sometimes they have an Ampeg SVT and I think it sounds crap. I have tried several different Ampeg heads and they all sound crap when I play through them. I think I will join Talkbass and see what they think about crap Ampegs Jez
If its the Berkely stuff your using Jez then thats why it sounds sh*te......I didnt really like that place at all.
24.
I'll change that slightly to - Feder Precision and pretty much anything that doesn't break down.
Surely that goes without needing to say it!!! Everything sounds bad if the gear is broken!
25.
After 40, any rock/pop music Seriously, though, I think there is always the potential for old rockers to look a bit 'sad' if they overdo the teenage angst angle of rock and roll. I guess its about learning to grow old gracefully.
lets all just play jazz then and feel as though we are dying a slow and painful one hahahahahaha
