1.
No offence but that is brand snobbery at it's best.
AND? No offence taken buddy, however I love having my Fender and my Ric. Brand snobbery or not, I know in the finish and the sound where those extra few bucks have went. Im not going to start a fight over this or a debate. But this is my views! Lets leave it at that!
 2. I have the Fender Jag. If you get the cheaper Squier you will look at it and always know its not a real Fender. The Jag is so versatile and the active preamp is so easy to use and quite powerful. It has amazing tonal quality and playability. Why cheapen your purchase!! Go for the real deal and you wont look back.
 3.
They re-issued their albums a couple of years back, really nicely packaged. I'd never heard them all properly (only previously had a compilation as the albums were out of print). Snapped them all up, really love them. Hard to believe they came from Scotland - to my ears they were (are) one seriously hot soul/funk outfit. Fully intend to catch them next time around.
and people from Scotland cant play hot soul/funk??? Is that because we all wait to chase a passing haggis or wait for electricity to get here!!!
 4.
Was it a rough neighbourhood? It's just that that looks like razor wire on top the fence
8. Just met up with Howard today to sell a bass. It was a pleasure meeting up with him and it was a very easy transaction. Another fantastic forum user and an all round good guy. Cheers
 9. I cant wait to own a Ric. I have 2 potential purchases on just now. However I am scared of rickenfakers. Can anyone with a bit of knowhow PM please. Cheers Steven

 13.
Not sure how many of you guys are in Scotland, but there is a bass bash organised for this weekend (Sun 6th Feb) ...so far there are way more people coming from over the Border (and many from way down south) than guys from Scotland.... Moffat Bass Bash Come on chaps...help support this event and tip the balance back your way
first ive heard of it Dave, I might pop along, weather permitting, ah if it was only closer to where I stay as I have no trians , buses or cars in my town, in saying that I would be there if it was any other weekend but hope you guys have a great one and I will def be at the next, I cant believe its so close to where I stay but cant make it. Oh no wait,,,,I am going.
 14. I just finished watching the lemmy film. Is he not mega rich?????? Cos judging by the way he talks about money and the way he lives, he seems to be a wee bit hard-up hahaha. I googled his net worth and it came back as $30million.

 19. Glad to be starting off the feedback for Chris. Just recieved my DHA pedal from and I am very pleased with the full transaction. Another honest BC'er and I would be more than happy to deal with him again. Thanks again Chris for a smooth transaction and very speedy delivery. Cheers Steven
 20. NO WAY...................... I had these guys on youtube earlier with the tunes Richard III playing. I was just saying to the wife how good they were. I also got a wee bit emotional (seriously!!) on remembering how good it was in a 3 piece band compared to the poxy 5 piece that im in now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 21. Hola all. Ok it has been brought to my attention that I rarely use my bongo except for noodling in the house or the occasional rehearsal. I think I was in awe of the powerful 18v preamp and the stylish looks. However I just dont think I am the kinda fella that needs a 4band EQ system and if anyone knows me or my posts then you will know that I hate not using my gear to its capacity or potential. So in other words, this is too much bass for me! Couple of pics as standard. More on request via PM. Bongo with new custom black pickguard and with the pearloid pickguard that came as standard For trades I am looking for a 4 string bass. Active or passive circuitry, im not too fussed. Ideally looking for a Shuker, overwater, ACG or a USA P-bass (maybe with a P/J config) Cheers Steven
