I think I can now sort shipping folks. Price is £1000+p&p The bass comes with the chrome, white and black scratchplates so you can change the look whenever you want. I have added strap locks and the thumb bezel at the bridge pup which is used to cosmetically look better plus has the indented thumb rest.

Ok this may be a wine induced request. However. As I am not playing my ric as much as I did and fancy seeing what is out there. This is a trade only feeler so no offers to buy at this point ta. I play 4 string and ideally passive basses however I will take active basses into consideration. Pic can be seen on my porn thread http://basschat.co.u...40#entry1288245 Cheers Steven PS. All comedy comments please keep to PM only thanks.

Had my first outting with the Durty Mac last week. Our debut gig went well to about 100 folk so fingers crossed it will get better and better.
My two cents..... although I see you have already got yours MOTH I have tredders old one and I know he had a lot of work done on the neck and its shows. The bass plays beautifully but I understand there were some issues with the QC on these which is a shame. The neck is manly. Thin enough at the nut but meaty enought to know your note will be big and full. A big fat neck = big fat notes! As someone else said the neck feels right for the bass. Combine the big neck with a heavy, slab body and the BAII bridge and this thing has sustain for days. Once you top it off with the pick up, which isn't a regular P pick up and I do think its a CS model regardless of the what the internets say (I heard the wire was wrapped by fairies!) you have this monster tones. The tone control will get you from biting punk to classic Pump it Up or nice fat soul. I'd say these are one of the most rock solid basses out there. They are well spec'd and worth the money. The Green Day associations shouldn't detract from trying or buying one of these. I'm away to plug mine in
Couldn't agree more.
Good to here that Steven as I have a MD coming my way on tuesday! If this was Talkbass we could start a club!. How did the gig with the new band go? Jez
That's good news Jez. Where are you getting yours from? What colour? The new bands gig went amazing. Played to about 100 folk and we had some dancers too which is always good. We all played really well and were well received....I think hahahaaha.

At my gig last night I had the volume and gain set to 12 O'clock to a crowd of about 80-100 and i think i may have been a tad loud hahaha

Gigged the P-bass last night with my Orange rig and it sounded awesome. Really bright sound with the tone full on and gave great motown feel with the it off.....awesome.

I think its just a really bad way of making it looked aged. Its terrible to call this vintage white seeing its bloody light yellow!!! However I am now past this issue and love the bass for what it is.. I think I may prefer the sunburst colour scheme but im really happy with the sound so I can live with the Canary under my arm hahaha

We tried the SP212 with the bass terror head at the Moffat bass bash. Ou7shined cranked it all the way up (hahahaha thats how loud it is) to 9 O'clock on the volume and gain and it was rocking and sounding amazing. He then went a bit mental and stuck the gain way up and the volume to about 3 O'clock (I think), at that point we decided the theatre wouldnt survive much more of the output. Just because you didnt like the sp cabs folks I wouldnt diss them! They are great cabs....easily portable and quite lightweight. Well worth the money. I wouldnt start putting folk off them as it may be the cab they love. I have went through many backline and this is the one that has lasted the longest.
The SP cabs are pretty dark sounding and inefficient, I prefer the OBC410... Or my Matamp 2x12!
couldnt disagree more more. My Sp212 is a lovely growly cab that easily also allows a lovely high mid zing if needed.

I hated both MM basses I had.. I think they may have been the shortest lived basses in my collection of them all.
