No, sadly, its a bad one, my Mums partner was a massive Rangers fan and he passed away in March this year. the club have been really kind, and they are letting us scatter his ashes at the "blue gates" do you know where that is btw ,munk? I take it its the main gate? It will be a sh*tty day all round, so I wanted to do sommat nice for someone on the way up if you get me. ah well...
i would imagine its the main large gate on entry to the park, but im not 100% im afraid. thats a really great thing though doing something decent for someone in a bad time for yourself and family,,,,,nice one buddy.

 4.
This may seem like a strange request folks but I was wondering if anyone has a fretless bass (preferably Jazz-ish) that I could borrow for a week to try out? I live in Gateshead so anywhere in the surrounding area... I've played the Squier VMJ in Sounds Live a fair few times but I don't want to commit to buying one I'm sure it will get used and I will be able to learn to play it decently. I'd like to sit down and spent a good few hours trying it out and recording a few bits to see how I sound. I'm happy to leave a deposit, contact details and eternal gratitude. Let me know if anyone can help
oh sounds like a spin off from the munkonthehill swapshop here. I knew this kinda thing would start taking off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck getting what your after
 5.
I think it was worth discussing or I wouldn't have posted. Totally agree with the highlighted part. You've just saved me shelling out for Bootsy's Funk University.
I took lessons from Jen(endorka) for a while (highly recommended if your in the glasgow area),,, her music theory knowledge is only surpased with her 'nagging' of timing. if it wasnt for jen I wouldnt know what timing was never mind how to hold a bass. its amazing how this is something im sure we all dont really think about whilst starting off on bass and without it it leads to a really shoddy sound and a terrible backbone of playing. I have to say though, once you get some good timing down, listen to what you want to play, keep it simple and enjoy it, then it will all just come to you nicely. Relax and enjoy it. If some says you sound like sh*t but you like it,,,,well f*** them
 6.
Wheres all the pickups gone
for that price i would expect bootsy himself to play the fricking thing
 7.
Right. How's that fuzz-wah workin out for you?
its working out fine thanks, but its a fuzz and a wah!!!! it isnt going to make my grooves sound funky. what it does however is make MY playing sound distorted with a wah!!
 8. it doesnt matter what you use or what you use it through. you may get better mids in various basses or amps for funk,,,,,,or better 'twang' thats needed for slap. however my quest for the tone or 'sound' im looking for will never be found. Funk or any other genre isnt found in basses or electrics. ITS FOUND IN TECHNIQUE..............
 9. its all on the one baby, a dont know why hes charging hundreds for info he has given away for free hahahahahahaha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHE6hZU72A4...feature=related
 10.
If you read 'em, some are dredged up from months ago by someone wanting to trade for a Geddy. So not all for sale by any means...
yeah it was one fella that drudges them all up from forum. Hope he gets one.. A think eddy glee is the only recent one for sale..
 11.
The OP on this one has made no comment,Have we rumbled the none pre EB of the item or is he just not about at the moment?
in all fairness Pete, we have highjacked this thread and told him his info is wrong on his bass hahahaha
 12.
Now on Evil Bay
are you selling this for LF??
 13.
The bridge is a 'pre-flea' which dates it to 91-95. The last bridges to feature the mutes. Also the string tree dates it to that era.... earlier Rays had a different positioning. Probably a typo for a 93.
any idea what year this looks like???
 14. yeah but we wont hold being east coasters against you chaps
 15. let me tell you where im at!!!!!!!!!!!hhhmmmmmmmmmmm if its Epiphone........ then im out (in the tone of duncan ballantyne)

 18.
It doesn't sound great at face value - sell church precision for £500 and buy bass i have been after for ages and 'donate' an Ibanez that isn't selling for £350 in its place. However there may be a lot more to the story than we know ... Before everyone trashes the guy
too late
 19.
Let he who is without sin.....
........pass the stones to the throwers so he doesnt get his hands dirty
 20.
Was it yours to sell in the first place mate?
looks like we will be stoning nathan at this rate,,,,and not in the good way
 21.
Well this is random, Sorry guys it looks like this bass isnt even for sale anymore. The other bass player just called back from my church and decided that we should keep the fender, since he finds it hard right now to play on my ibanez since its a 5 string bass and if i sell the fender, then there will be no 4 strings for him to actually play on. so it looks like im back to selling my ibanez BTB 5 i have that posted up as well, most likely, but i still need to get it sold before this friday, (although one of my friends did express intrest in the ibanez so maybe he will buy it) sorry for the trouble. i didnt think he would change his mind.
sounds like divine intervention to me!!
 22.
i want to get it sold BEFORE THIS FRIDAY because with the money, i will be buying a ken smith burner 5 for myself and then sending my Ibanez BTB 5 string to church to be the main bass there instead.
what kinda retail would you get on your Ibanez BTB??? why not just use the money from the churches P-bass to buy them a bass???
 23. everytime I see a 5 stringer I really want to take the plunge and get one. The stealth that you were selling had me itching to buy it, although I didnt have the funds at the time and was gutted when it went (and not to me). maybe once I learn how to use 4 strings I will eventually try a 5.
