7. Ah its that time again where I tell everyone that we are playing a gig, now as ive only had 2 (i think) replies on this thread then im sure its a wasted venture but here we go. Hey all, playing Dakota 23rd, should be awesome with us adding in sweet emotion, sex on fire, maggie may, you really got me now and superstition into the mix. Well hope to see you all there Steven (god I sound so redundant)
 8. should your sig not maybe comment on bass guitar,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,this is after all a bass forum hahahaha
 9. hey James, are these 250watts a side at 8 ohmes or is it 500watts at 8 ohmes?
 10. ok ok, lets get this into the right vibe. These basses are the mutz nutz. I have the black one and Im now very interested in the black scratchplate. I use mine mainly in passive with both pickups on and the in series (on if thats right haha). when I fancy wacking in some wah and fuzz I change it to active where i have the treble boosted a bit. its bloody awesome and so easy use. All in all this bass does it all, it has a wide range of tones and plays magnificant. So lets face it, everyone should go get one, they are the mutz nutz,,,GET ONE NOW
 11. 2 words mate...... FENDER JAGUAR. it will be the last bass you will buy, it does it all and looks the mutz nutz into the bargain

 13.
I was forced to withdraw mine from sale, Munk made me feel awful, he was right though.
OH MY GOD what the hell is going on here. right lets stop this madness. Thankfully Tom seen the light before it was too and I hope you do too GR. These are the best basses on the market, so versatile and look amazing. the necks are super slim, the active circuit is awesome and the whole thing just plays amazing. by no means is this a bid to help you sell this, i hope im just pointing out that if you let this go then you will always miss it. In fact God is quite angry with ou right now!!!!!!!!!!!! Im now going to play my Jag as I dont want to go to hell!!!!!!!!!!!
 14.
Yeah, shame that mate, plus we have this amazing weather...we'd never get it sorted
hahaha anno matey, its a shame cos am really gunning for a 8x10. damn geography!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hated it in school and I hate it now

 17.
Munk As you and I play the same sort of boozers (have been offered a gig or two in the Dakota down your way). Sorry if these are on the lists already mentioned. Anything by The Killers Anything by Kings of Leon Jenny dont be hasty by Paulo Nutjob (the women love it) Folsom prison blues by Johnny Cash-trust me, 2nd set, everbody pissed, killer! These songs have been scientificaly tested on the pub goers of the West of Scotland by us! Ones to avoid....I know, we tried em recently and they died on their ar*e! Play that funky music Anything by Biffy Clyro Innocent by Stereophonics Burn baby burn by Ash. The drummer picked this one, says it all! Hope that helps. Jez
nie one, when you playin here then i may pop in
 18. im assuming you missed the 'modern' and 'popular'
 19.
Hoiw is the Ashdown head & Ampeg cab combo working out for you?
Hey Al hope your well. Yeah the combination of ashdown and ampeg seems to be working for me. I get the amazing clarity and presence with the 4x10cab that produces amazing top and bottom, plus the head, although seems to have basic features, allows me to sculpt in the tones required, amazingly the bright and deep buttons on the front panel allow you to change your tone in seconds, its a great head with an amazing sound, my only problem is im running 575watts at 4 ohmes into a 400watt at 4 ohmes cab. lets just say i will have to be careful haha
 20. They boys and I are adding some songs (as usual) to the setlist. Differnce is this time we are looking to adding some newer 'popular' song that compliment our current back log Current songs are: outside women blues red house cigarettes and alcohol hoochie coochie man black cat moan stop rack em up going down shake you money maker heartbreak hotel hard to handle bridge to better days shapes of things ballad of john henry umbrella man - Gary Moore california dreaming - john meyer womanizer dont let me down your time is gonna come bring it on home to me sex bomb get your rocks off proud mary vegas two times gimme all your lovin my guitar wants to kill your mamma old time rock n roll are you gonna go my way the seeker ziggy stardust 20th century boy sweet emotion. so if anyone has any suggestions then please help me out. cheers steven
