  1. Yup you got me. I must admit I don’t use that much dirt so perhaps that is why I don’t notice it. One of the things I like about it is the tuner. Very fast settling and seemingly very accurate. I must check it against the Peterson App on my phone. When you consider how much a GOOD tuner costs it is amazing.
  2. i have used both softwares and they worked first time for me.
  3. G strings are often the least bendable wouild 50-100 be a good move?
  4. My mistake. However the main thing is that compressor, no compressor, valve or solid state. If it works for you, its good.
  5. Couldn't be arsed with those😯
  6. I was refering to the inbuilt compression of a valve output stage. Of course it depends how hard you drive it.
  7. How much is that due to your amp? As I remember you use a Handbox and, at voloume you may get a certain amount of compresion from the power amp.
  8. One of the things that put me off multi-effects was that all those I had used were a little noisy. I have the B1-ON and that is OK but getting the B1-Four was a revelation. Fewer patches than both the B1-On and B3 but then how many patches do you need?
  9. As I play mainly Bass and Acoustic Guitar, I was tempted by Asdown's recent offer on the Acoustic Pre Amp pedal. As it doubles up as a DI, at £40ish it was too tempting especially as the blurb says it is good for bass too. It is arrives Monday so I will let you know how I get on.
  10. I did not hear him!
  11. The key hear is that 4x7 is a lot more cone area that 4x5.
  12. OK stop it. If I could find how to unsubscribe I would but I can’t and it’s cruel. I can’t think of anything else to sell. 🥲
  13. You may well be right but it is subjective and really depends on the 12.
  14. Looks nice although no bass amp sims yet. Pricey but I wonder if the Helix and Kempers model volume related distortion that well?
  15. I will be bloody loud though.
  16. I remember someone saying a year or two ago that Schaller's quality was not what it was. I would contact them and ask for their comment.
  17. Ditch Google from your life, They track you everywhere. If you use DuckDuckGo there are fewre ads and NO tracking. Sadly it cannot correvt your spellings.
  18. Agreed so miming it is. I have got a few mics, none of which is an SM58. I am loathe to buy one to be fair so its either miming or foam shield for this gig. As for the soggy mic syndrome, why do people seem to need to swallow a mic?
  19. Actually for the audience. miming might will be the best option.
  20. I have a couple of pairs of their in ears and they are great. However I would be happy using any of those liste above.
  21. I have the Smoothound Wireless but like you John I cannot see any reason to "upgrade". The only thing really missing from the B1-Four is a DI out.
  22. i have a very nice Sontronics SOLO mic that I like to use. We have a one day festival gig in September and with the current situation don't want to be singing (I use the term loosley) i to a mic that has other people's bodily fluids added. I realise it will be a sound mixists nightmare but should I be able to use my own mic or just use a mic condom?
  23. Get some Behringer mics. They will only notice that they sound better.
  24. Ali Express have joined the HMRC's VAT scheme and do collect the VAT on behalf of our government.I have also bought some PCBs forma Chinese company recently and they have also signed up. It cannot be beyond the wit of a German company to do the same.
  25. Morris 1100 I believe in the same red as my first car.
