[/quote]Our Guitarist in the late 60s decided a Vox T60 would be netter than an AC30. It was basically one channel of a (not very good) HiFi amp. Noisy as hell and no real power. It and its ilk are probably why SS amos have a bad name to this day. On the other hand, the HH 100W amps that came a few years later were awesome (although still a little noisy) Still got two of their 100W bass amps.

The half rounds were he best string I have ever used. I just bought a packman rounds of my old Peavey bass and was suspicious that they were only £11. Still have the union jack on so maybe some of the last strings from Treorchy.

I just rang Picato to ask a technical question about their strings. I got through to Strings and Things and was told that the Picsto factory in Treotchy is now closed and Picato Strings are being sourced from elsewhere!

Has anyone got the dimensions of these pups.

[/quote]The sub thingy on any amp or effect will try to make a speaker do what it does no want to do. That is why good amps had e High Pass Filters and lots of Thumpinators, FDecks etc are sold.

Some jazz pickup pairs are RWRP reverse wind reverse pole. They are often the same size, not allowing for the small difference in string spacing between neck and bridge. Look at http://ironstone-guitar-pickups.co.uk/product/jazz-bass-guitar-pickups-alnico-v/ for example.

With the plethora of UHF mics on 863-865 and 2.4Ghz, are the free VHF bands now less crowded with less interference? Is the equipment good enough?

What a good bloke. Sent me a "used" fan free of charge for my self build amp.

I listend to both the 10s and 12s at Absolute Music the other day. They have a full stage setup and they were very good. Not good for the price but very good full stop.

The machine heads are at the end of a long lever so even 100g is much heavier at the end of a neck than if you held the same right in your hand.
