Good shout. Click on the channel Name at the bottom of the screen, then select EFX at the top of the next one. You can then see the amount of reverb, delay, chorus or rooms assigned to your channel. The easy way is to mute them all. I will post an image when I have cleared some crap out.

My Sire M2 is great, or at least is becoming great. I have changed the machine heads for Hipshots and will soon put Kent Armstrong Claymore soap bars in. The final change I would like to make is to put larger, possible glow-in-th-dark dots on the side of the fingerboard. You might ask why? When I change from my Fender 21 fret to the M2 24 fret, they are positioned differently, and I cannot always locate the correct starting point. I know I should be able too, but I sometimes screw up when tired. So is it easy and do the glow-in-th-dark dots work?

Yes, the Custom ones are too expensive, at least for this bass, but the stock claymores (ironically not in stock at the moment) look great and work out about £140 per pair I was hoping for closer to £100, but that's life. The Custom ones would be about £300. Out of interest, I paid, £260ish new for the bass and then added Hipshot machine heads, bought on here for £60. So by the time I add the new pups, the bass will have cost £460. However, the neck is superb, and the only other addition might be better side dots.

In general electromechanical components, switches, relays and even Jack sockets are less reliable than pure electronic devices like transistors an electronic switches. thirty year old relays, switches and jacks may well have reached the end of their lives, but are replaceable.

Those are just about doable. I remember when Kent was based over here and was making custom pickups.

I need to get some good photos and videos of the band. I know that the latest DSLR cameras do good video recording as well as supermen still but as far as I can see, the have limited video run time. Is this true? Secondly Which option would work well under the far from adequate gig lighting we use? please keep your answers gerberuc an not brandy specific. As a former Panasonic employee, I get a gear discount so it will be a choice between Panasonic LUMIX or Camcorder.

I want to try some other pickups in my Sire Marcus Miller M2. It is a £300 bass, so many of the usual suspects are out of the question. I will not put £300 pickup sets in a £300 bass.

My point was that it would need a lot of tinkering to get it right. I was not implying that Ales just plonked a Piezo in with a resistor, like as many manufacturers do.

Markbass cabs are quite coloured (voiced if you like) it is a bit of a marmite sound. When we rand cab shoot-outs at the SW bass bash, one year the MB was top, the second year it came bottom. The main thing is that it works for you.

Looking at the range in a bit more detail, it seems that Zoom have positioned the B2 Four in a place that clearly positions it between the B1 Four and B6, rather than directly competing with the competition. Still cannot get to try the unit fully, but some further comments in no particular order or importance: The display is an improvement over the B1 Four but lacks the colour and touchscreen of the B6. It has only one input against the B6's two. Tuner. It does not have the LEDs that the B1 Four has, but its backlight/contrast is adjustable, and I have been able to see it clearly in both dark and fairly light (south facing conservatory). The speed and accuracy is excellent, as is the B1 Four, but the larger display makes it easy to read. Works well with chords too, Currently, neither the Zoom Guitar Lab nor the Tone lib Zoom recognise or control the B2 Four, although Zoom Guitar Lab does work with the B6. Instead, we get an app that works on a phone or tablet. I have tried the iOS version on both an iPhone and iPad, and it seems a useful tool and a good way of overcoming the limitations of the display. It does need a Lightning to USB adaptor and USB-C cable to work, but these are only a £ few. I bought the adaptor from the big A for about £12. I have still to try all the features, but the fact that I can have remote control on my mic stand is a plus. There is an Android app for the Guitar version, the G2 Four, but not currently for the B2 Four. Foot switches. Really nice feel, really positive. Noise. Apart from a few of the more extreme patches, the unit is really quiet even using my wired headphones (Panasonic RP-HTX90N used wired). The B2 Four acts as a 2 in 2 out audio interface and works well with Audacity, even though it is not listed as supported by Zoom. Audacity is the only DAW I have, so I cannot say how well it will work with others. Interestingly, the B2-Four is physically different to the G2-Four, it is larger partly because of the DI functions. The Guitar version has no XLR out and no DI models. Now, I am not yet convinced that the DI models are of any great use, but the XLR out is.

I suggest you wait for either @EBS_freakor @Phil Starras having excellent knowledge in this field. What is your budget?

Tweeters are as good as the design and if a tweeter sounds bad it could be the design, your technique or both. You only have to read the Markbass threads on here and on the Other Place to realise that just adding a tweeter is not the answer. A level control or switch on a tweetered cab may indicate the designer’s doubt in her/his design or could be a marketing device to counter “tweeter hesitancy”. There is little that a tweeter control/switch can do that a good amp EQ cannot. Ask Barefaced why they have added the tweeter and how it is implemented. If you are happy with the answers, order one and take advantage of their returns policy. My concern would be that the 110 has such a baked in sound that balancing the tweeter would be difficult but, only Barefaced can say what they have done.

It is basically a 500 watt amp with 2 ohm capability. Probably more than enough for most people.

Yes try this first. I agree that the RQ curve is extreme in the image but as you say you did not gig it like that it is probably not the problem. Have you got another c AB you could try? Or another amp with that cab?

Hmm.It is easy to be negative but at least they are thinking about their offerings. The pink sparkly one looks a bit “DaisyRocks”. Zero fret. I had guitars in the 69s with zero frets and they are better than a nut. If you think about it it is obvious. The magnetic electronics cover did not look like a good fit Some nice looking basses though.

Gold and white/cream would not be my first choice of colour scheme but that it gorgeous. Enjoy.

Fuji GeNeral were one of the Japanese factories for Fender back in the day. I have always been tempted but recently they t have only done traditional Jazz basses.
