Martin Sims of Sims custom led's make scratch plates. If you send him a trace of your existing one he will copy it Just make sure how many holes there are as some are ten and some are eight or even nine like my USA Jazz 9 holes.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Mark King played one on early recordings of LFT stuff. He said that the one he used had a loose pickup and every time he leant forward it stuck to the strings so he had to sit down and play it leaning backwards. Has any one else read this ??

Lets be honest if Somebody other than Bowie had released this track it wouldn't have been given airplay.

Just bought a Boss Chorus pedal off Jim. Great communication and quick postage. Would deal with Jim any day of the week. Couldn't get him to part company with his Mark King Fender Jazz though. FEK !!!

Met him a few times. Even had a telephone conversation with him on my way home from a L42 gig in Wolverhampton a few years back. My brother(Who was at the stage door chatting to him) phoned me and asked mark if he'd talk to me. He gladly obliged and thanked me for travelling down to see him and asked me how I enjoyed his show. One of the nicest and genuine guys I have ever met. Not a bad bass player too LOL.

Just done a great trade deal with Martin today... Great Guy to deal with. Will no doubt deal with him again in the future. Good chinwag.
