2. Just bought an Ashdown ABM evoII 500 bass amp from Matt. Can't fault the guy. Communication 2nd to none. He sent it 5pm Wed and it was here 8.30am the next day AWESOME!!! Don't think there's any bubblewrap available in Clevedon now though coz Matt used it all to wrap my amp. Would deal with him anytime. Cheers.
3. Martin. We could save ourselves a lot of time and typing if we both swapped basses. Go on you know you want to....................

14. I Have an Ashdown ABM 2x10 500w combo. I have a dodgy back so I have recently bought two ABM Compact cabs but would like to take the head out of the combo to use with the compacts. The problem is the head is wider than a standard 19" rack case and I can't find anybody on the internet who makes amp cases or sleeves. The width of the head is 57cm.
15. My top strap holder screw came out of my Fender Jazz about ten years ago. So I drilled the hole out to a bigger size and as somebody else suggested I inserted a harwood dowel tightly into the hole with some PVA wood glue. When it had dried (24hrs) I shaved off the excess glue and a bit of the protruding dowel off with a very sharp wood chisel. I then drilled a small hole big enough to take the screw for the strap button. The strap buttons width hid the repair and ten years on still as good as new.
16. If there was ever an amp that stood the test of time This is it. If it's good enough for Brian May and all that.
17.
Not a problem I've encountered - was the lacquer stripped off or something?
Maybe, Can't remember.Regret selling it though. It's got an Alembic look about it. IMO. Good luck with the sale BUMP.
