Alice Thompson's Solo Piano, no bass but a great way to unwind after a busy night shift.

"It's My Life" has a cracking bass line to it & it's one of those tracks that I'll never get bored of playing. Everytime I play it I do this I learnt it quite early on & it's well worth the effort, it's the little runs between the verses & chorus, get me everytime.

Can't go wrong with the Shuttle, kinda wish I'd kept mine.

I'll throw Westfield into the mix, think I paid £65 used for mine before I b@st@rdised it to look "roadworn" (it was a phase I went through), my brother still plays it & it's perfectly useable with great sounding pickups.

Extra long D'addario's will fit if they're your flavour.

Definitely, I'd only played the 55-02 previously & was worried how this one would stand up to it. It does a great job, no better or worse just different.

I used to ogle Lakland basses back in the days when all I played were cheap Yamaha's (there's nothing wrong with cheap Yamaha's) but when funds permitted I went in a completely different direction (expensive Yamaha's & Musicman) & never gave them a second look, until.............. My glorious wife bought a 55-01 for my birthday, now I'm hooked, the neck just feels great & is so playable.

Graham bought a cab from me last night, met at the services as agreed & a really pleasant exchange. Thanks Graham, enjoy the Berg.

I have a bit of a thing for white Basses so when this arrived before Christmas for my 40'th it was clear the good lady had been paying attention My brand new Lakland.

It's hydro-dipped then clear lacquered. Weighs a tonne but looks quite cool.

I think you made a good choice with the Cambridge, I use a "One" downstairs for everything from TV to Spotify & I'm considering their Network Player for upstairs. In terms of reliability my "One" replaced an A5 that I'd had for 18 years & our son still uses it in his bedroom. My experience with Cambridge has been nothing but positive. I'm also a big fan of stands, get the spikes if they're an option & drop small blobs of bluetac between the speakers & stands then enjoy your eargasm.

I had the 6 & honestly wish I hadn't sold it. Phill Mann (awesome player & really nice bloke) bought it off me within minutes of the advert going up.
