3.
but for about £300 I reckon its pretty good.
Absolutely. I'm in project mode at the mo, an 80s Bb300 if i can get one or failing that it'l be jazz based. No pun intended.
 4.
I constructed this from some secondhand and some new bits and put a naughty Fender decal on it. Yellow sparkle body was £26 from ebay. No idea what it is really. All in all it came in at just under £300 and means I have the confidence to fanny around with it all time. Maybe I should play it a bit more. Spent the right money on the SJB2s and electrics from a chap in New York. Here you go.
Nice bass, i don't normally like gold but this is cool. What neck?

 7. I use light gauge Slinky's on all my Basses, got the Stainless one's on my Bb and they are sweet. Think most people prefer coated string's though.
 8. Just bought a hard case from Pete, slick exchange and top bloke. Will try and catch you next time your at The Robin.

 13.
Cheers man. Pretty surprised to see so many BB3000s/5000s here - before mine I hadn't come across one...
An 80's Bb is now firmly back on top of the gas list now that the Ray itch is scratched. The white and ebony.....wow. Is it in the Yammy appreciation thread?
