I've had this for years. Bought on this forum from a fellow in Yorkshire (Wil I think?) It aint perfect, has dings that have been touched up (see pics). All original though from memory. Currently wearing flats. Sounds pretty cool. Has some neck dive but not too bad and the thing only weighs 7-8lbs (see pic). Will come with a light weight gig bag. I don't really like posting but may consider it. I'll deliver or meet within 100 miles or so for some fuel contribution. I also get up and down the country with a theatre show so could potentially deliver that way. I'd rather you try in person if at all possible. PM for more info if needed. Please search for my feedback. No trades, sale only. £450 ONO

I bought this bass on the forum last year to use in a theatre gig. I used it for half a year before switching to a PJ bass. Only selling as it won't get used. It's a lovely looking (white pearlescent, rosewood neck with block inlay), playing and sounding instrument. Weighs about 8-8.5lbs (see pic), so easy to wear for long periods. It's in great condition and has recently been serviced by Shane Haigh in Wakefield including a fret level and setup. The setup might be a little off now as it was adjusted for Eb tuning but is now back to standard E tuning. It has a newer wiring harness. It has a D tuner. It will come with a light weight gig bag. I might consider posting but would rather you try it out in person. I get up and down the country with the show so could bring it along if you are near a venue. I'll also drive to deliver or meet within 100 miles for a little fuel contribution. No trades, sale only. £700 ONO PM for more info if needed. Please search for my feedback on here.

This thing makes quite a gnarly racket. Bought a few years ago to try out some dirt. This thing does it in spades with differing varieties due to the LED and Silicone switch. I don't think this is a pedal for the faint-hearted so do a little research to see if it's right for you . No box and has a little velcro on the bottom. Trades: Only looking for an Xotic Bass RC Boost otherwise straight sale. £80 ONO posted.

Nice to meet you as well @cetera. Your bass looked and sounded great. It definitely suited the music and show. I didn't think I'd like the show as much as much as I did, being more of a rocker and soul guy 😄 🙃

I met up with Colin today to collect a USA Hotrod PJ bass. Lovely bass just as described. Spent about an hour playing and talking bass and life. Great comms through out and very easy to deal with. Thanks again for the wonderful bass.

Thank you for the reply @Hellzero. I'm trying to determine whether using it as a live DI is viable. It's a lot of glass to carry around for 1/2 a valve . It does offer quite a clarity to the tone and I prefer the pre-eq over the post-eq. It sounds more open then my Stagebug too.

I'd like to find out some info about using the Ampeg PF20T Preamp DI on Pre-EQ mode but don't understand block diagrams. I'd like to understand if in Pre-EQ, the signal goes through any of the preamp valves or if it's just Thru. The manual and diagrams get confusing as one section says in Pre-EQ it acts like a Thru but in another it states the Pre-EQ is after the first gain stage. The block diagram (to me) looks to show three preamp valves but there are only two. Hence my confusion. Below are screen shots of the FAQ about the Preamp DI, and the block diagram. I've included a link to the owner's manual. https://ampeg.com/data/6/0a020a3f12c8b5e0b88f60b5ae/application/pdf/Owner’s Manual - English .pdf Any help is appreciated.

Bought some nice flats off Michael in what was an easy and quick transaction. Thanks again

I have a 5 string USA SUB with the East preamp. Makes it so much more versatile. It's supposedly just like the 2 band eq when the mids are left flat, but for me, the magic is with the sweepable mids.

Bought a nice little MXR power supply from John in a very easy and smooth transaction. Great comms, great price and was flexible on sending so I would be available for the delivery. Thanks again.
