Sale agreed Up for sale is a Barefaced GXii Guitar cab. This is the original version of what is now known as the Reformer. Mine is the “American voiced” model which has an Eminence 12” speaker rather than the Celestion that was fitted to the “British Voiced” version and the current model. I bought this new direct from Barefaced in 2019 with the intention of gigging it. Then, for some reason I can’t quite recall, all our gigs were cancelled and this, plus a little Bugera Infinium T5, became my home practice rig. By the time the world started to turn again I’d gone FRFR and IEMs so the cab became redundant. It’s too good to just sit unused so up for sale it goes. The Reformer is £599 plus delivery and a long wait - I’ve priced this to (hopefully) shift. Condition is mint - even the Tolex covering! I’d prefer collection or to meet somewhere but I can post within the UK for an extra £20. Photos;

Update: I’ve got a reasonable PX offer for the Taylor which I’ll probably accept unless I get an offer of £1700 or better…. I’m selling my Taylor 814ce. According to the serial number it was made in September 2014 in California. I bought it new in 2015 from Gig Gear in Harlow and have only ever used it at home. I’ve finally realised that I just don’t play it so it sits unused in its hard case. This is a crying shame and so it should go. Condition is immaculate. There may be a couple of scuffs on the case but otherwise it’s excellent. I have all the original paperwork, care instructions, etc and I’ll also include a set of new Elixir strings as it’s due a string change. It’s available to try out here in Hull or PM me to arrange a meet somewhere or - if you’re not too far away - I can bring it to you. I would really prefer not to courier this if it can be helped so please PM to see what the options are. I’m setting the price based on used prices elsewhere on the net but I’m open to sensible offers. Thanks Lefty. It’s a bit of a wrench but I need the Godin and the Tele for gigs so this is the one that has to go. The one I’ll really struggle to let go of is the Taylor.

I’ve got a decent trade-in offer which I’m likely to take unless anyone wants to jump in now and offer me more than £450? The Great Clearout continues. I need to cut down on the herd so I’m selling my PRS SE Custom 24. This is the 2019 Limited Edition in a fetching Tampas Green with a beautiful roasted maple neck. After digging around on the PRS website, I can confirm that the serial number denotes it as Korean-made, (although the fact that it says “Built by World Musical Instrument Co. Ltd, Korea” on the back of the headstock is a right giveaway). The colour maybe wasn’t my first choice (although it has grown on me) but when I plugged it in and played it in the shop suddenly the colour didn’t matter and I just had to have it. Reduced: Now just £50 plus £5 postage (UK only) I bought this little beauty in 2019 (although I notice that it’s stamped as “01/2017” on the bottom so presumably it sat on GAK’s shelves for a while until I bought it….) I bought it as a backup for gigs but ended up not using it (y’know, pandemic and all that) and I now have other backup options so it’s just sitting in its box unused. It’s 50w into 8ohms or 60w into 4ohms. Condition is excellent apart from some light scratches on the top (which I’ve tried to show in the pictures). It may be digital but the sound is excellent and you have a wide range of drive available from mild “grit” to heavy distortion. It’s not Line6 levels of insane drive but it does a decent blues or rock lead nicely. There’s an FX loop, built-in reverb and plug for a footswitch to swap between channels. The amp is in its original packaging with power lead and paperwork. It can be collected from me at the seaside or I can post to UK addresses for a fiver. Price Drop to £65 I'm selling my M-Audio MIDI Controller. 61 velocity sensitive keys with USB and 5-pin MIDI. It can be powered by USB or, if you're using it with the 5-pin MIDI, by a 9v adaptor. The adaptor must be centre-positive so you can't use a standard pedal power supply - except you can because I'll include the little polarity swapper). I bought this not very long ago when I was taking on-line piano lessons. I'm now seeing a real person and using a real piano so the M-Audio is just taking up space on my desk that I could with getting back! Condition is excellent and I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. Available for collection from the seaside. I have the original box so I can post if required (that'll be an extra tenner please). It’s not the most robust box I’ve ever seen but I should be able to bubble wrap it safely. It doesn’t, I’m afraid. I got it in the original polystyrene and cardboard packaging which are moulded to the bass itself which makes me think that it didn’t have a hard case originally. Dan had advertised it with a gig bag but I’m not sure if it was original to the bass or just a generic gig bag - I ended up not taking it, largely because I forgot! The accessories are all present and correct - user guide, pick-up cover, etc. I have it in a generic hard case which is included in the sale.
