Do you have any sound examples of the 32 Artist? I love the look of that bass and there aren’t currently any on the the Unicorn website. Thanks! Damon

Really enjoyed listening to these. I sold my 1980 Red Sabre through the Bass Gallery after not really getting to know it properly - which I really regret now of course. Great playing.

Dear Bassheads, I have a lovely 4 string 90s Red Sabre which is currently at the Bass Gallery. Go to their site to see some pics. For a private sale I will accept £975. I'm working in Dublin but am back a few weekends in the lead up to Christmas for a potential handover or I can send the bass (postage to be added). Obviously you're welcome to go and try the bass. I need to move this bass on due to a recent Basschat purchase. Thanks Damon

Just bought a pedal power supply bank from Cameron. It was pleasure to do business with him. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Cameron. Cheers Damon

Hi fellow Basschatters, I'm keen to trade the above (which is way too powerful for my needs) for either a TC Electronic Rebel Head or cab or Markbass Head or cab. Or a bass. On the wish list are Kubicki Ex Factor (including Fender made ones), a Fender 75 reissue, Fender Jazz FMT or most things from Status (except Washburn models) They've got to be 4 string and fretted. I'm also after a JohnEast Marcus 01 pre-amp or a Bartolini TCT Preamp. Depending on the trade there'll also be some cash added to the head. The Head has a little cosmetic damage to one of the rack ears which in no way affects the performance of this head which I've hardly used tbh. The head is currently in NW London. Please PM me if you're interested. Cheers D
It went to me, then off to a guy in London via this forum, Damon42 or somthing like that, a MK fan with a few GB's if I remember rightly. I played this for a while, gigged it a few times, but was moving more toward an extra strings at the time Not many neck thru spitfires around? Wouldn't mind another GB spitfire, but would prefer something more solid colour than the exquisite stained wood finishes Bernie produces! Someone was selling a white bass for a while (Ian I think?) should have had that when it was available (kicks self hard) anyone know where that is now? Tony
And I've still got it! Lovely bass. Not seen another GB like it. How long ago did I buy it from you? 3 years? 4? Cheers D
I'm selling this beautiful Pangborn Warlord bass, i purchased it off Doctor bass a few months ago but i'm not a 34 scale man as all my other basses are 32 scale. It has a lovely feel to it, 1.5in nut, slim neck a joy to play and pretty rare these days. It has a Flame maple top and is in great condition and comes in a hard case, i'm looking for what i payed which is £1220 + £35 postage. cheers Dave
I want this bass. But you know that already Dave. For everyone else. Dave is a great guy to do business with. Good luck with the sale. I can't bare to watch. Cheers Damon

I can't believe I missed meshell ndegeocello's 2 gigs at the Jazz cafe on Monday and Tuesday night. I saw her 5 years ago in the US and she was superb. I just wondered whether anyone from here went. It would be great to read a review. Cheers Damon

Hi Guys, Thanks for getting back to me. Ped - yes, I thought about just using Brasso but then I thought if I got it cleaned professionally 1). they would do a better job and 2). they would finish it with a Polyurethane Lacquer top coat. Steve - The brassware in question is a string retainer and bridge on a headless 1980s bass. I'm not sure whether it had a lacquer on it originally. I may attempt it but if I could find someone to send it to and get done for say £30/£40 I think I would prefer it. Do you guys know of anyone? Cheers Damon

Anyone? Maybe you know a good luthier etc who could do this. Any help would be a great help. Thanks, Damon

Dear Bassmates! Firstly, Happy New Year! And I hope it will be a bassentric year for all! Secondly, I want to get some brass-ware from one of my basses professionally cleaned up to a sparkling new condition. I made some inquiries and my local bass emporium, here in North West London, and they said they don't take that kind of work on so I thought I'd ask you lovely Basschat peeps where you'd recommend me sending it to. Any takers? Thanks, Damon

I love slap and think it should be used more liberally, especially to spice up boring rock tracks.
