Why does it say on the homepage that “We have 3952 registered members” when new members have member numbers in the 4100s? EG – TheDarkReaver (who joined 28/08/08) is member number 4124. I’m such a f***ing geek for noticing this kind of thing, but even more so for posting a bloody topic about it! (i really don't have anything better to do other than notice this kind of thing)
And you Mr White, look far to normal to be Pompey. And your bird can't be, no way.
haha, well I'm Pompey by birth, not by blood You're right about Caroline though, she's from LAHNDAAAAAAN near Harrow. To be honest mate, I wish I was back in Pompey now. Derby is sh*t; the weather is sh*t every day, the football is sh*t, the jobs are sh*t, a lot of my uni mates have gone home after uni so I don’t know many people up here…don’t know what I’m still doing here really. I’ve told myself that I’m escaping by the latest of next summer to come back down south, weather that be London or Pompey depending on more education possibilities or work, who knows. -
Yeh, but I'm probably a sufficient number of years older than your other half to have committed some sort of offence saying that!!!
She’s 22, it’s all legal -
i feel the same when i see victor wooten play...
+1. I’m a good ‘amateur’ player, but I realised a while ago that I’ll never be a Wooten Bollocks to it though, I like playing Jamiroquai so f*** it, I’m not a solo performer and don’t have ANY aspirations to be one either. That guy just takes things to a completely new level with the whole ethos of the bass guitar and music in general that a lot of pros will never get anywhere near. Jesus, you won’t be a pro musician over night mate – good things come to those who wait (and practice a lot)

I recommend one of these - Just round off the bottom of it
Tell her it's pronounced "be arse, see hat", not "bass chat" and that you posted it in the wives/girlfriends pics thread.
Haha that would be f***ing funny for about 3 seconds until I realise that she’s plotting a plan to chop my nuts off whilst I sleep
Or it could go the other way and she might blow your nut
There’s always that -
Did you meet at a smiling contest? lol

Good grief... you are both annoyingly attractive people
That will make her day if I told her, and I say “if” because “if” I tell her then she will know I’ve posted a pic of her on here and there’s quite a high possibility that she will totally blow her nut -

One of me and my better half last night at a free classical concert at Darley Abbey Park in Derby…she had no idea about the fingers -
my housemate had his hard drive fail on him 2 days before his dissertation was due in...watching him have a nervous breakdown was probably one of the most horrible things I've ever seen. Moral of the story - Back the f***er up
What are you listening to right now?
The sky pissing it down on the whole of Derbyshire...it's the sound that completely epitomises another disappointing British summer.
...Ben you ever worked for a removals company...????
Haha no never mate, I just know that occasionally Parcel Force (Parcel 'Farce') like to play that favourite pastime of theirs called “courier football”, so excessive bubble wrap is always a good idea

Paul just bought my BNX3 – Very smooth transaction, no issues at all, would definitely not hesitate to deal with again. Cheers mate PS – If all else fails, RTFM

It depends what kind of sound you want, but if you want something really vicious and aggressive with a hint of some smooth distorted harmonics, then you won’t get more bang for you buck than with a Little Big Muff. For £45 new I think they’re possibly the best value for money distortion on the market at the moment. Try one with bass, you can’t go too wrong for that kind of money…
I never was one for selling a lot on ebay, but I'll never sell again on there due to the fees and the monopoly they've created with PayPal. f***’em!
I’ve just majorly contradicted myself by letting my girlfriend sell 18 bits of clothes on my ebay account, although she’s picking up the fees and the paypal charges of course – http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/fleabassuk Anyone into women’s high street fashion?

pretty much what it says on the tin ^ It’s brand spanking new – no sign of wear anywhere on it. I can't see that I'm going to use it though. MRRP = £80, but I’ll sell you mine for £50 posted or trade for something interesting (I’d prefer the cash though ). Any takers? Horrible stock photo - Lots of shiny LEDs photo - SOLD - Pending the usual (That was quick )
...any tips for preparing today?
Don’t even think about it (otherwise you could be in danger of psyching yourself out ). Do your normal Saturday routine of whatever it is you do on Saturdays, then make sure you’re stuff is ready for the gig about half an hour before you have to leave to go to soundcheck - then make sure you’re at soundcheck on time so the guy on the desk can’t blame you guys for everything running over on the time schedule Make sure you’re relatively happy with the onstage sound (it doesn’t have to be perfect but when you’re soundchecking make sure you speak to the guy doing the sound and tell him what you want in your monitor), and then chill out till you’re on. Chat to the other bands maybe, but just relax and don’t wind yourself up too much. I still get nervous after 100+ gigs, but that’s part of it and I love it …wish I was gigging at the moment

Nothing swively or with armrests ...anything else goes I had a short stool (about 2ft high) when I was living at home that was great. With a stool though, whether it be high or low, make sure it has somewhere to rest your feet at a comfortable height. There’s nothing worse than having dangling feet on a high stool. I had to play a half hour acoustic set once with a stool like that…it was so uncomfortable and tiring.
