1. I’d also have one if I didn’t think it would cost more than the down payment on a mortgage for a £250k house
  2.
Hey Ben, Rich is often out shooting. Drop him a text on his mobile. He always answers
thanks, I'll do that...
  3.
Buy this bass benwhiteuk ..... The bass gods have cospired for this to happen. Although of course its none of my business

MB1. + TWELVETY!
haha, I’m trying guys, but getting no response from the seller
sorry, It is a no to both questions. The only thing I have done is replaced the original white scratch plate. I have that though.
Ok mate, I’ll bare that in mind. However, the Thumb might get sold for cash relatively soon, but I’ll keep you informed.
  7.
The article dismisses Oasis entirely, which is (I think) mostly right on the money...
I'd probably agree, but for the last few years Andy Bell has played some good bass lines on the more recent albums. On the Brit-Pop thing - Blur are an alright band, but consist entirely of pretentious w***ers On almost every show he appears, Alex James comes across as a bit of a nob IMO.
  8. I never was one for selling a lot on ebay, but I'll never sell again on there due to the fees and the monopoly they've created with PayPal. f***’em!

    G&L in UK
I think they no longer make in Korea ( now Indonesia) but don't know if that coincided with the logo change. I'm sure if you visit Talkbass and go on the G&L Board and do a search you'll find the answer!
Any noticeable changes in quality that anyone’s aware of?

    G&L in UK

What’s the story about the older G&L Tribute basses having “Tribute” in large capital letters on the headstock and bridge, but the newer ones only having “G&L”? Are there any fundamental differences with the older Tribute basses compared to the newer ones that have made G&L want to play down the “Tribute” badges on the newer basses? I might be able to find some pics through google if people don’t get what I’m on about…
How is your gas this week benwhiteuk?
It’s still there man, GASing away for a nice Jazz…but I’ve also been eyeing up a few other basses that I need to go and try – G&L L2000 Shocker that there are no Warwicks in Birmingham! I know there used to be loads in the old Sound Control, oh well.
It's not quite a jazz, but it's got one of the best Jaco-esque sounds I've heard, a Dean Jeff Berlin signature 4? With a bit of cash your way?
Thanks for the offer Mike, but it’s not really what I’m looking for. Your signature has made me a very jealous man though…

  16. Just do what sounds best to you - you're gonna get subjectively different sounds whichever way you put them. If it sounds good to you, then it sounds good
  17. at least once a month...possibly more if I'm playing a lot of gigs :brow:
  18.
Oh it does, it does.
I can vouch for that as well
  19.
How do you mean? From what it looks the whole neck curves to the right after the 5th fret.
maybe try and take a pic? I don't know how feasible this is or how well it will show up the problem though...
  20.
The picture was taken just seconds before the flames
I thought so, he’s reeeeally smokin’!

  22. I definitely agree with you about the feel of the Shuttle 6.0 being a bit ‘cheap’. That was my first impression when I picked mine up, but the sound of the thing is IMMENSE for the weight – I’ve had t-shirts that have weighed more! It’s bloody fantastic, and I love being able to dial in a bit of dirt from the pre-amp.
  23. interested in a trade for a Warwick Thumb BO?
