Coasterbass - Sorry to hijack but I was wondering how you remove the front panel of the cab cos I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago from our very own MB1 and I've not been brave enough to yank it out, is there a specific technique to removing it or should I just get a bit more aggressive? I tried removing it when I was doing a few recording sessions but I didn't want to break anything... Have a bump as well for a bit of info

OK...it's approx 11:35am on Tuesday 22nd April 2008 and this is the last bump before i withdraw it. Obviously doesn't seem to be the market for it at the moment and I'm not desperate for a sale so I'm not reducing the price any further, but if you're reading this in May or June and you're interested then PM me and i might still have it. Cheers, Ben...
I check the box for the site to remember me but I always have to log in regardless. How can this be fixed?
Does this happen to you on other websites too? It could be something to do with not having cookies enabled or if you're running regular spyware scans they usually delete all cookie settings...just a possibility cos I'm no IT expert.

I've not looked through all 19 pages so I don't know if these have been on but I think they're quite comical... I think there's a pinned topic somewhere with the title "Bass players wanted". You might get more luck posting on that. Edit - It's under Performance...

I'm trying to finish off a CD for a massive Uni project and I want to get it done before Monday (it's due Tuesday) and I don’t have access to the Uni macs over the weekend which have the program in question on them, so...is there a freeware alternative of Waveburner that I'd be able to acquire easily? All I need it to do is let me input my own track markers then burn the CD with those track markers. I've mixed the tracks and then placed the bounced files together the way I want them to play back and overlap in ProTools and then I've bounced it down from ProTools to a single 44.1k 16bit WAV so all I have to do is place the file into a program which will let me input the track markers. It would be handy to be able to input a negative count-down before a track as well because I'm including an interlude on the CD and I don’t want this to be a track in itself but rather tied in with one of the songs; like you know before a track on a CD when it counts down showing "-0.43" etc until it reaches the start of the track and then counts up. I want to do this so you cant skip to the interlude section and have to listen to it from the end of the previous track, if you get what I'm saying. I’ve got Wave Lab 4 and I believe that this has the capabilities for what I’m trying to get done but I can’t for the life of me work out how to do it. Any ideas or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated, Cheers in advance...

This is an interesting topic. I guess warwickhunt is going to be the most knowledgeable on the subject having many different Warwicks differing in age/model etc, but I've found Warwick necks to be quite a bit thinner than a lot of other makes. I've had a few Warwicks and I've loved the way they all feel (except for when my Streamer Standard had a smashed in headstock!). I'd recommend trying it again maybe and definitely trying a few others including a thru but under £700 it is likely that the only thru neck Warwick you will find will be a Streamer Stage I. It would take something very special for me to stop playing Warwicks, you cannot beat "The Sound of Wood". One man's Ferrari is another man's Lada... it's all personal preference at the end of the day.
It always helps to mention the large bass community you're a part of too .
That's a good idea, I may have to try this one out if I'm unlucky enough to have any gear go wrong on me. Wooks - sounds like you've got a result if they're replacing it with freebies, still a pain in the arse though. Hope it works out mate.
LOL I'd agree but I'm more of a Guinness man myself
ah yes, I am now a Guinness man as well. Gone are the days of adolescent lager drinking down the park...unless it's 30 degrees sunshine and someones got a ball to kick about
Have a bump on me my friend. I've had an Ashdown rig on here for £300 for nearly a fortnight now with no takers at all. I I'm assuming there must be an acute shortage of funds.
Damn, maybe I've chosen a bad time to sell, time will tell... Good luck shifting your Ashdown gear - supprised no one has snapped it up.
In case you were wondering, that was the last time I ever trashed any gear other than a Tanglewood Les Paul copy guitar, but that's another story. Things are a bit different, when you're paying for your own stuff and it's a tad more expensive.
I can relate to that, I was thinking of keeping my first ever bass (a cheap p bass copy) to play the last song of a big gig then smash it up on stage. Just ended up selling it for a packet of fags and a box of 24 Carling. I think I got a good deal I'd never purposely smash anything I own now though.

That kit looks like an ideal first build experience...I'm almost tempted. Looks like you're going to have some fun finishing off the body. Hope it goes as planned.
