[quote name='waynepunkdude' post='1102897' date='Jan 25 2011, 10:25 PM']TIM[/quote] Plays with RIC(K), apparently...

Got no idea about this one, on the verge of gutting it for parts and binning the rest...

[quote name='mcnach' post='1096611' date='Jan 20 2011, 05:51 PM']dislike the missing "basslines" logo? It's one of the "plus" points to me! the film can be removed, I take it...[/quote] +1 That logo always cheapens the look of a nice bass IMO.

That's pretty shocking... ...I'd be far more efficient.

[quote name='budget bassist' post='1096454' date='Jan 20 2011, 03:23 PM']Yep...[/quote] What hardware are you running that through?

I'm not doing a good job of keeping up with this so I'll delete the 'waiting list'. PM whoever has it and ask for them to pass it on to whoever is next in line, or give you address otherwise it'll never get passed on...

I've got a big sack and a brimmed 210ltr water butt if I can be of any assistance...?
-
Ask them to take it down if you're not happy about it.

For some reason the USA versions of these amps are significantly more reliable than the "Made In China" versions. I've a friend who works for a large South African distributor/hire company and they're having an absolute nightmare with Ampeg at the moment re a load of Chinese SVT-4Pro amps that keep blowing the pre valves and/or power stage. By the sounds of it it's not just one amp, it's a significant percentage. He never had an issue with any USA SVT-4Pro amps... Good luck with the sale!

[quote name='robocorpse' post='1092538' date='Jan 17 2011, 02:32 PM']Yes, thats what I meant, See what I mean though, that looked dodgy to me pretty much immediately. Also, the "Les Paul" silkscreening is too light, and the "MODEL" is slightly offset to the right. TRC sides are too rounded with not enough white showing, and "Standard" is too fat. Also, shouldn't an '85 LP have a fibre headstock veneer? I swear I can see woodgrain under the clearcoat... Buttons look too white, but thats probably the lighting/photoshopping Are those photos you posted yours or his?[/quote] To my untrained eye, the "MODEL" is in exactly the same place as the LP in the picture that Johnston posted. Using that as a comparison as well as other Google images of an 85' LP Standard, I see your other points fairly clearly. Lysdexia - have you posted this on the LP forum that's been mentioned above? It sounds like the Argentine is trying it on big time, but there may be reason to clarify the authenticity of the guitar.

[quote name='Ou7shined' post='1092465' date='Jan 17 2011, 01:38 PM']Probably took a hefty knock and a solder joint's been broken.[/quote] Yeah that's kind of what I'm thinking but it's difficult to diagnose without having it infront of me. I'll post some pics when it arrives. I guess this isn't really a common problem or there's no known common faults with this pedal then?

This one's a bit of a puzzle. I originally got this pedal in a trade from another BC member but I've hardly ever used it so it's just sat being unused for the majority of the time that I've had it. When I have used it it's been fine and worked well. I then decided to sell the pedal so tested it a couple of days before putting it up for sale and it seemed to work fine - I didn't do an extensive test, just plugged it in and made sure that it worked. So I put it up for sale and it sold nice and quick, wrapped it in bubble wrap and sent it inside its box inside a padded jiffy bag. On arrival it doesn't work... currently in the process of being sent back to me for a refund to be issued, but a video has been made of the fault for me to look at - Anyone have an idea of what could be happening?

Nice little stereo phaser, sounds great with bass or guitar but I have absolutely no use for it as I'm only using a clean tone at the moment. Great condition, looks almost new. Pics: £30 posted. Preferred payment by PayPal as 'gift' to avoid fees, or I can take a personal cheque. Feel free to ask any other questions.

You all know what these are, if not then visit [url="http://www.aphex.com/products/instrument-pedals/xciter-pedal/"]here[/url]. The rubber feet have been taken off and replaced with velcro so it can be attached to a carpeted pedal board. Pics: £50 posted. Preferred payment by PayPal as 'gift' to avoid fees, or I can take a personal cheque. Feel free to ask any other questions.

I'm having a bit of a cull and need some cash, so this is going. There is some slight marking to the top of the unit which is clearly shown in the pics below. It's also missing the white rubber handle for the 'Trigger' slider. Pics: Given the condition I'm asking £100 delivered mainland UK. Payment via PayPal as 'gift' please, or cheque.

I actually really like the look of the Zender bass, however, I'd rather commission a custom build from one of our many excellent British luthiers for that price...

Do [IMG] tags not work...?

Good luck with these, the Streamer looks nice - still got my Streamer Standard that I bought new in 2001 that I love to play. My advice would be to sell them on here for the price you want or try eBay again in a few weeks and think about your end time a bit more - 22:27 on boxing day might not see too many last minute bids come in...

Haha that's amazing, hats off to the guy.

I've found that the BSW doesn't track that well with anything too high or low, tends to break up a bit. Just my experience of it.
