    I don't really understand it either, but that's not stopped me from spending a lot of time and money trying to work it out

    Parts of that slap section made me think of MJ's Speed Demon. I'd love to see him play that - definitely within his capabilities in terms of speed.

    I think the 1212 Schroeder would be a good match to these, and would also suit in the orange finish I'm using mine with a 4x10 TecAmp cab and it is amazing.

    I'd be amazed if this hasn't sold yet... I clicked on the thread 1 min after it was posted and decided straight away that I couldn't justify it after buying an Orange Terror Bass at the weekend. Didn't stop me from thinking seriously about it though.

    I almost done exactly that today with a bog standard Squire P bass. It sounded like a classic P should and felt absolutely great to play... I didn't come home with it though cos I had 'the voice of reason' with me

    I tried out the 500W yesterday in a local shop and it sounded great and was so loud that I bought it The only problem is the one I've got has a problem with the fan so it's going back to be replaced tomorrow. The 4x10 Isobaric cab sounded pretty good too, but in reality it doesn't come close to how good my 4x10 TecAmp is.

    I've been hit with a major bout of GAS and it would be about £150 more for me to get the 1000W version. Is it worth it...? I can get the 500W locally for £412 new. Opinions please
