1. I've never left a band, they always seem to implode around me
2. Unlucky mate, that really sucks. If the material is ready to record and you're tight enough then maybe negociate with him to stay with it until the drum tracks are down? When I was 18 I had a drummer walk out on the band I was in on the day of our 2nd gig. We played it acoustic and dedicated every song to our "dickhead ex drummer"
3. Just seen this on eBay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Warwick-Custom-Shop-...=item1e5b64b6ef Great bass for the price!
4.
There ya go, it is US and the postage is extertionate. 5. Any idea about Wilkinson tuners? They look good for the money, less than half the price of Hipshot as well...
6. As you can see, it comes with a 4U IDEX Caseworks flightcase. Flightcase is well used but still solid. Full specs available here - http://www.qscaudio.com/products/amps/rmx/rmx.htm SOLD PENDING
7. Leading on from my above post, this head: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=81854 ...and this cab: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=83341 would make an immense cheap, powerful and loud rig. IMO, it's exactly what you should be looking for given what you're looking to buy and your budget.
8. You can get a lot with about £700 when you're buying second hand. Personally I'd be looking for a single cab solution and would want to spend about £300 - £350 on a good 4x10 or 2x12, and between £350 and £400 on a head. I'd also avoid Ashdown. The Carvin 4x10 that's for sale on the forum is a great buy at £120 - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...1&hl=carvin - That would leave you with a nice wedge to buy a good head (Mark Bass, Ampeg, SWR - whatever tone floats your boat) and consider upgrading the cab in the future. I'd always be looking for a single cab solution as it's a pain in the arse gigging with a massive multi-cab rig!
9. daaaaaaaaaammmn I would have been seriously tempted on this one.

11. ooo this probably is the only bass I've ever really regretted selling... Can't say I'm not tempted to have it back!

13. You can switch between 115V and 240V:
14. That really sucks man. I hate hearing about stolen gear. It's gut-wrenching to think of any of my gear being stolen, let alone my main bass for example. Hope you get some luck and it turns up.
15. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT I was watching this and asked a few questions but they were far too vague as to the condition of the valves and when it was last serviced or re-valved so I set myself a limit of £300.... went for £337, not bad for an all valve 300W Trace head!! Was anyone else watching it? EDIT: I didn't win the bidding BTW
16. I'll have it as soon as my amp sells...
17.
Trades?
daaaaammm... my comic timing is off!
18. Potentially back up for sale...
19. Dubs

For sale

Those block inlays look amazing.
20. Bought myself one of these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT
21.
These aren't bad either for the price: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Effects-Pedalboard-C...=item5886a3be24 If you look they come in different sizes too .
I think those are unbranded Stagg cases - exactly the same as far as I can tell... Great value for money apparently.
22. If you want a simple DIY job then I made this last year - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...t=0&start=0 Only problem I've found is carrying it around - it doesn't really fit into any bags that I can find so I've ended up only using it in the house. It's absolutely solid though and I'd have no worries using it for regular gigging.
23. There was a very similar one in a lot better condition on last week. Sold for £130 cash on collection in Southampton... I didn't win the bidding though
