Picked up my Shuker on Sunday and the SWR rig on Tueseday right before a jam.
I've just picked up a 90's SWR Bass 750 (pre Fender) and I'd be really interested to hear it along side a newer 750X...

Ended at £100 with no bids? Have I missed something...?
Having had a look at Boschma it would seem that their rack strip does not comply with the international standards as it doesn't have the intermediate holes. Then again from what you say the amp wants to use the intermediate holes which is a US thing and goes against accepted custom and practice. As already stated you either make new holes in the rack strip, make new holes in the amp ears or get a new case. Historically there were 2 standards, EIAJ (Japan/USA) and DIN/BSS for Europe. Now there is one but not everyone complies. I had an Ashdown LG1000 a year ago and the holes in the rack brackets were non-compliant. I told them but they ignord me as usual.

Hello! I think this is what I had... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...&hl=boschma
Cheers guys, very helpful

Cheers for the responses guys. I'm really not keen to do any drilling of holes on either the amp or rack as I was kind of after a way of just swapping out the standard 1u screw spaces and replacing them with ones at every half unit space. Here's a couple of pics to illustrate the issue. obbm & BassBod - It is indeed a 3u SWR Bass 750... why do they do that?!

I'm trying to rack a tuner and amp that are 1u and 3u each in a 4u Boschma rack, BUT... the Boschma rack that I'm using only has screw spaces for each 1u unit rather than every single screw space. The problem I've got is that the 3u amp that I'm trying to rack has its screw spaces half a step out of sync with 'normal' 1u spaces so I need to have a rack with screw spaces in every single gap in order to be able to rack both the tuner and amp together. If you're still with me... ... is it possible to change the rack spaces on the Boschma racks or should I just give up and buy a new rack with screw spaces at every half unit space? If I've not explained myself very well I'll try and find pics for examples of what I'm getting at. Thanks in advance...

Jake bought my MBox. I put it on hold for him a few days before he could pay and he paid up full when he said he would Great communication and patients whilst we waited on Royal Mail to get round to delivering it... Cheers mate.

I used to break a lot of E strings on one of my first basses until I got it properly set-up. After that I don't think I've broke a single string on it...

Streamer all day long... Corvettes just look silly

I have done a few times (4 or 5 ) but did a lot of research before hand and made sure I bought them at prices that I'd be able to sell them on for and recoup most, if not all of what I bought them for. Fortunately for me, every time I've bought a cab without hearing it I've been satisfied when it arrives and I hear it for the first time.
Here's a monstrosity I came across earlier. Not only a horrible looking guitar used by a crap band, but it advertises a poor excuse for beer too!
That's the most gut-renchingly horrific thing that's been posted on this thread. What a f***ing sellout.

I wouldn't pay 10k for that, or for THIS

I have a QSC RMX1450 that I'm hoping to trade for something lighter. Obviously the trade off will be the power output. The RMX1450 delivers 1400W @ 4 ohms bridged. I'd be looking for something that can deliver at least 600W into a single channel 4 ohm load. According to the tech spec on the QSC website it weighs 18.2 kg. I'm looking for something as light as possible but realistically around 10/11 kg. What have you got?
If I can sell of my pedals that I've got advertised, I'm definitely interested. Is it a full version of Pro Tools?
Sorry I didn't see this before. Yes this is a full version of Pro Tools. It's LE 7.3 with an update to 7.3.1 if you choose to install it - LE is the standalone version of Pro Tools for domestic users, otherwise it's Pro Tools HD that you have to buy thousands of £'s worth of dedicated hardware to run! -
seems like the rockbass range are changing back to what they were in the late 90's/early 2000's when they went under the "std" name. they'll sell a lot more now that there's only a "W" on the headstock and no crappy strat type jack input.
Those weren't Rockbass basses man, they were genuine German made ovangkol necked Warwicks, and very nice as well
The Thumb SC has to be one of the ugliest basses I've seen in a while. P
Totally agree. Looks like a Photo-Shop experiment gone wrong...
