Well after a weekend away I came home to a great big TecAmp cardboard box...with my 4x10 inside it It's the 4ohm version which is ideal for me as a single cab solution. It looks great and is an easy 1 man lift, just got to give it a thrashing at band practise this week. I'd deffo be interested to hear about the official covers if anyone manages to source a supplier...
haha, I remember that moment Ben - McDonalds car park on the A41.
that was it. I'd still have that cab if my last band didn't split...
I cant wait for your face when you pick it up. Once they are out of the box...you brace yourself for a heavy weight...then it isnt there!
I had that experience with an Epifani UL310 - it was funny but that was only a 3x10... I can't wait to get my grubby mitts on this cab!
Just ordered a 210 S, anyone know if these come with a cover like the tech soundsystem stuff?
Not sure they do - I think they're an optional accessary. I was actually looking for the official TecAmp covers online because they look great, but I can't find them anywhere.
You still after seperate head/cab for trade, or another combo with neo's?
Sorry, I should have changed the OP - I'm only after a straight sale now; I've sorted out a new rig and this H&K needs to go to make way. I was seriously considering keeping this as backup, but cashflow would be very tight towards the end of the year if I don't sell.
Yeah i got the ultralites. My main concern is how the wood choices will make the bass sound since the wood descriptions on the warmoth website say maple gives a very very bright sound and that ash also gives a bright sound and i would like to get that thunderbird bassy tone.
In all honesty, the electronics and amp will probably make more difference than the wood.
I lost sleep last night considering bagging some of this gear BUT common-sense kicked in and I left alone... despite phoning GG this morning to check that the 2x12 combo was definitely sold!
I know that I would have lost sleep had I not made a preemptive strike on the 4x10 cab - probably much more suited to what I need anyway - my new rig is based around a 1.4kw QSC amp and the 4x10 will take 1.2kw I've never had this much GAS for something I've already bought!

So how many people have TecAmp stuff arriving tomorrow? At last count...6/7?
Looks like two of them have - they were out of stock earlier, now there's two.
I highlighted the different M and S cab lines to them when I was asking for a refund. Looks like they've changed the info on the site as well now. In all honesty, if I didn't have to put a rack on top of it then the S212 would have been more than adequate and amazing @ £350.

For anyone that's interested, my refund is being processed as we speak, so call now for the 2x12 if you want it...
Sold out of 2x12s, 4x10s and the 2x12 combo. Tempted to buy the Puma before anyone else reads this thread tomorrow!
One of the 2x12 cabs I have on order, and I'll be phoning up to cancel that tomorrow morning cos I've ordered the 4x10 as well. If anyone wants the 2x12 then I suggest that you get on the phone tomorrow morning before they list it back on the website...
-
...I couldn't stop myself - just ordered the 4x10
Yeah my confirmation email says S212 - I would prefer the M, but either way, a lightweight 2x12 that handles up to 600w is exactly what I need!
Yeah I know what you mean, but a 17" wide cab with a 19" + another 1" either side will look a bit stupid. The M212 would have been perfect for me. If the 4x10 is still there in the morning then I'll get them to swap the order over...
Yeah, I see that, but it's an S212 image they've used and the code 68S-2124 would suggest it's an S212/4 ohm. Do you know if they have them in different impedances? D.
Ah, that is true. I guess I'll find out when it arrives. Don't really want the S212, so it might go back if it's that, or I might sling it on eBay @ £500 BIN EDIT: In fact, I think you're completely right. Looks like they've just copied the wrong info from the TecAmp website. Might have to call up in the morning...
