Yeah, I wasn't under the illusion there was a definitive theory, just a general kind of unwritten code. From what I've seen and what I morally think is a fair price, it seems to be around 60% of new price?
Possibly. It massively depends on specifically what you're talking about though. If the market is flooded with what you're trying to sell (or buy) then you may only see 40% of the RRP, but if it's a relatively new product then you may see as much as 80%. If you're talking about vintage or discontinued/rare gear then you may even see a return of anything from 100% to 500%+. It really does depend on what it is you're selling and the condition it's in.
when did you change your basschat name??! lovely bass btw, had one of these in natural and it sounded amazing, unfortunately sounded too much like my musicman for me to want to use it! gorgeous colour
Only a few days ago. I wanted a bit of anonymity with regards to randoms/employers/etc googling my name or personal email address Cheers for the bass comments. This is a very reluctant sale which is why I'm after a firm £350.
They'll only send it standard delivery and I think they said it would only be insured for £15 a kilo...
Package it with a few house bricks

Reluctantly up for sale is this great L2000. The only reason this is up for sale is because work has been slow this month and I may need cash for a bigger rig, otherwise I'd be keeping it. These G&L basses are absolutely fantastic; 100% bona fide Stingray killers IMO. The tonal range is anything from a mellow P to a growling Musicman sound, and all that's in between. I'll stop there...the numerous reviews on here and elsewhere will give you a less biased view on how good these basses are. It's in a fantastic condition and is virtually mint bar a couple of very minor buckle marks, and I only mention them to be fully honest. It doesn't come with a case so I'm looking for a local cash on collection from Portsmouth. NOW SOLD If someone desperately wants this shipped then I'm happy to ship it in a hardcase at the buyers expense, i.e. the cost of the hardcase and shipping is met by the buyer. I'd guess that I can get a good new hardcase for around £50 to £60, and then shipping will be about £12.

Any news on this?
A few years ago when I was doing a few Center Parc's gigs, one of the managers of the venue we were playing came in to watch us sound check, but couldn't be seen anywhere at the, as per normal, high quality show an hour later. Next morning we had the agent on the phone saying that the manager had complained because we weren't dressed properly and kept stopping in the middle of songs. Retard! lol
that's great. But yeah, I wouldn't dwell on one person's opinion. It sounds like a really sh*t reason to give as the primary reason for not booking a band though.
I note that this has two inputs, does that mean, you can plug in two basses and switch between them, if so i may be slightly interested - lee
It only has 1 instrument input. The other inputs are 3.5mm Aux input, MIDI in (and out/thru), and a Variax input. I don't know what it would do if you had a Variax bass and normal bass plugged into it at the same time though -

The QC421 is a 400W 2x10 Neo (29Kg) combo with the clever H&K DynaValve system that gives a true impression of a full valve amp. The tone is very deep and full, and it sounds a lot bigger than it is. Sorry for the dodgy pics; it was a nightmare trying to take a pic without having the flash shining off the amp and over exposing the picture: Looking for £300 collected from Portsmouth. Straight sale only please; no trades. I may be able to meet up within a reasonable distance from Portsmouth if it would accomodate a sale More info can be found here: http://www.hughes-and-kettner.com/products...=prod&id=46 http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...+210+Combo/10/1 http://www.bassguitarmagazine.com/index.ph...ro-cab-issue-27
Mono are great, really good. The Body Glove ones are good too, especially for the money Soundslive were selling them for.
Just checked my invoice for the Body Glove gig bag - £37.99. Amazing value!
