1.
I suspect postage and insurance will be around £60 - £80 Parcelforce, cheaper if insurance not required.
Just to give you a heads up – Parcelforce won't insure musical instruments over £250, or in some cases, not at all (I think it depends how they're packaged - hard/flightcase etc). Other couriers will insure them so it’s worth doing a bit of research and reading all the T&Cs and small print etc… Good luck with the sale
2. I used one of these at a gig once – it was the supplied backline. I was absolutely blown away by it. I couldn’t believe the depth of tone for the size of it. Quality bit of kit this.
3. Still tempted to come and have a look at this, I'm just thinking of the chronic backache though... 105lbs?
4. Roger Waters' bassline to Money.
5. For £250 I'm tempted, but I have no use for it at all

7.
Price dropped again - £125!! Someone's gotta have use for it - makes excellent feature coffee table if nothing else!! Andy
Fantastic price mate! If I was local I'd be tempted to nab this. Someone should snap this up at that price.
8. Owain bought a Gotoh bridge off me. The deal couldn't have gone much smoother! He paid yesterday, and it arrived this morning. Cheers for a smooth deal mate
It's there, just hidden a bit under the lacquer. It happens on some of the coloured oil finishes. On my Corvette $$ for sale it is quite deeply stamped into the wood so Warwick obviously had complaints.
ah...I'm on an old borrowed laptop right now with a crap screen, so that might not have helped either Good luck with this though, it looks immense, but also scares the sh*t out of me!
10. I'm no expert, but it looks like there's bits of wood missing - not a very clean break. If all the wood was there then it should be a relatively straightforward fix and not a very hard job at all. I’m talking from experience (x2).

Where’s the SN on the back of the headstock?
12. Quite underrated as a bass player I think (or not, as this thread progresses...). Really good lines to play and listen to. Midnight Show is one of my faves, amongst the ones mentioned above…
13.
Does it fit directly onto a fender without redrilling?
So I’ve been told – although I don’t have a Fender to try it out on… I think there's a lot of info about these around the forum and tinterweb in general.
14.
Automotive paints don't normally allow for the expansion and contraction of wood so there's a risk that if a paint designed for metal car bodies is used on wood, it might crack with the next sudden change in temperature or humidity. There are spray paints that are available for wood though which do allow for this expansion and contraction.
Not sure that they were suggesting that he should use car paint...
15. [s]Got any full body pics? Front and back, headstock etc... could be interested...[/s] oops...just clicked the link to the other thread
16. I've only ever bought 2 basses new - a Stingray and a Warwick Streamer Std - the Warwick when I was 16, and the Stingray when I was 19. The other 10+(ish) have all been 2nd hand. I think it would have to be a very special instrument for me to buy brand new again...
17. I've got a Gotoh 201 for sale if you're interested - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=53091&hl= Shameless plug
18. This has never been fitted to a bass. Doesn’t come with screws. [s]£20 + £2 postage[/s] SOLD PENDING
19.
Best way to store your Bass Could anyone please give me some advice on storing basses that are not regularly used.
Store them at Ben's house
20.
I am selling this for my mate who has used it exclusively on guitar...
Has he replaced it with something else? Any reason for the change? I was toying with the idea of buying one brand new a couple of weeks ago for £40…
21.
Wow, Where do you keep them all? forme currently 4 EBG's and a EUB so a total of 1554
I’ve got a big garage…
22. At a conservative guess I’d say at least 8000, and realistically it could be up to as much as 15,000.
23. How good is the tuner? Good tracking? How about low B?
