Im sorry if Im making you annoyed...dont believe all you read...Im a nice guy really.
Fair doos – each to their own. -
I cant for sh*t,I just feel more confident with 18v...its psycosomatic..its madness...but 18v feels better.....9v I associate with cheapo japcrap,or the 80s (When active was ACTIVE..as in turn the thing on and the head went Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
If you can't tell then why care? So if I gave you a de-badged passive Squire and told you it was a Sadowsky with an 18V pre amp, you wouldn't be able to tell? -
Bass playing. We all spend loads of money trying to slightly alter the tone of our sound then spend stupid money on posh transistors then go and use it at gigs just to be asked "were you the guitarist?"
Touché It's painful cos it's true -
I will be shortly also. Currently going through a bit of a pedal phase. As I've got a couple of spare old bass cases knocking around, considering this: Bass case DIY pedalboard
Looks good. I've not considered making a case actually - hmm, that's got me thinking...

This is the kind of thing I'm looking to make - http://guitarnuts2.proboards45.com/index.c...amp;thread=3067 - maybe slightly smaller than this though.

Thinking of building my own pedalboard. Who on here has done the same? – Any hints/tips? I think I know what I want but I’m gonna draw up some plans and take it from there. Show me your DIY pedalboard pics

I think the first one looks pretty good, but the 2nd one looks really odd and cheap - looks very 80s to my eyes - great for some, shyte for others. I'm not sure about the stealth 'ray either, but it's good to see some new stuff coming from them.
Don't be knocking that scales and arpeggios s***. It's you friend; you must love it!
I do, but it can get so boring just for a warm up. Scales and arpeggios have their place, but I'm bored of them for just warming up.

oops Can someone please move this to “Theory and Technique”

I’m just doodling away and going through my usual practise and warm up licks/riffs/arpeggios/etc and was just wondering how many others have their own warm up routine or interesting little ditties to get them going? Please do share via MP3 or whatever… I have a couple of interesting but basic slap warm-ups that I’ll record and post a little later on Just thought it would be good to share some interesting practice techniques rather than getting bored with the same old scale and arpeggio sh*t

I’ve already had 1 offer for cash but I’d rather not at the moment simply due to the fact that I don’t want to be left without a head for any period of time longer than about a week, and if I let the Shuttle 6.0 go right now then I have no idea when I’d have a replacement. I’d be relatively happy to sell it if an SVT-3PRO became available through the forum or locally and the cash generated from selling the Shuttle 6.0 would cover all of my costs. Don’t get me wrong – these are great heads and I’ve been very happy with mine so I’m in no rush to off load it, I’m just looking for my ideal setup and I think the SVT-3PRO is more suited to my sound and my style of playing at the moment. If an SVT-3PRO was to become available, then potentially I’d be looking for about £430 shipped for the Shuttle 6.0.

Due to having an alternative power supply I no longer need this. It’s in great condition and has hardly been used – only marks are from a Velcro strip that I had on it but that’s now come off. I took the rubber feet off when I put the Velcro on but these will be included as I still have them. More info and pictures can be found here - http://www.hartnollguitars.co.uk/products.asp?id=1930 If anyone wants a pic of the actual thing rather than a catalogue picture then I will post one up. SOLD Cheers

Just done a trade deal with Fatos. He’s a great guy to deal with and the communication was great throughout. Cheers mate
