For sale is my good ol' Aerodyne J-Bass. I'm honestly finding myself not using this much any more, so it's just sitting around. I can't get away with using a 4 stringer with my band, so the 5 stringer feels all the love. Condition is very good - Only downside being a large Jagermeister sticker on the back from the previous owner. I never tried to remove this, as I never saw it as much of a problem (Nobody sees it whilst you're playing, after all), but I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to remove if you so wished to do so. As you probably know, this is a very versatile bass, with P/J pup config for the best of both worlds. Lovely looking, sounding and feeling, nice light bass. Looking for £500 ovno on this collected.

Hey guys, As someone who uses a UX1 interface and the POD Farm software for recording, I've been very intrigued by the Bass POD (Or other similarly named products) for use in live/rehearsal situations, as well as using a rack-mounted system. All I've ever used in the past is either combo's, or a head & cab, and wondered what would be needed for me to get started with a proper rack mounted system (Are power amps even rack mounted, oh god I don't know) Is a pre-amp even necessary if my bass has one built-in, or will they just interfere with each other? (Is anything essential other than the power amp?) Does the Bass POD act as an effects pedal, in that it just goes onto your board with the usual in/out connectivity? Am I right in assuming that the same wattage matching rules apply to power amp/cab as they do to head/cab? If somebody could possibly enlighten me as to the route I should be taking on this new venture into rack-mounting and power-amping, I would certainly be grateful.

I'm 98% certain that's Nige's - If I recall correctly , Nige's had those scratches on the back.

Just bought a set of strings from Dylan. Great comms, very fast dispatch, and an all-round good experience. Deal with confidence.

Bassection replied to Hutton's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
I asked him "Is this toilet seat previously used?" through ebay, and got this response:
Hi, No, it's a new and unused for its intended purpose. It may seem a frivolous thing to some but I also share your concerns. In the interest of hygiene I would NOT want to build a bass from a used seat, I have my standards too. Every bass I make is crafted from the best quality, brand new parts I can source, from the Fender licensed necks and hardware to the pickups, body or in this case a toilet seat body (purely for comic effect) even the wiring looms are made by myself in my workshop. I manage to keep prices low by utilising a minimum finish, It would cost much more if and when I'm asked to paint and/or varnish a bass due to the extra time, materials and effort required for completion. This particular seat is from a German manufacturer called Wenko (pronounced Venko) and is of a high quality made from bamboo, a hardwood with surprisingly pleasing tonal characteristics. I hope this has put your mind at rest, should you wish to purchase or order one for yourself. In the meantime, I will have to update my page to reflect your concerns. Thank you for asking this question, and thanks for looking. kind regards Craig
-

3 Things That Inspired You To Play Bass?

I started because I literally drew the short straw when me and my friends were starting a band. So, I guess I can't really say i was "inspired", but more.. forced? -

Oh! I totally missed one from my last post.. This guy: His runs between 2:35 - 3:40 are literally orgasmic. He's the son of well-known comedian Hamada Masatoshi. I only recently realised who's son he was; certainly shocked me.
