1. Song may not be to your taste, but you have to admit it's a great bassline.
2. Stagg's aren't one that I ever thought I'd see people recommending as "good" basses.. I'd agree with anybody who says Yamaha's and Ibanez's.
3.
My fav colour for a warwick. Any idea how this beauty plays/sounds compared to the old german corvette FNA. that was the last warwick i played and loved it. Sadly im not local
I really couldn't say, as I've never played a Corvette FNA, sorry.
Shame you wouldn't swap for my p this is pretty much exactly what I'm after :/
I'm afraid I already own a P-Bass which I'm trying to get rid of. I've had my fun with it, but it barely gets used now. The only other bass I'm interested in atm is a cheaper Jazz style bass.
4. I've been watching this for a while now.. I'm so tempted, but I really must get rid of some of mine before I can even think about buying it. Good luck with the sale anyway, it really is a beautiful bass.
5. Nobody local interested?
6. This one's certainly different to what you've all posted.. Never fails to cheer me up though:
7. It used to be my Warwick Corvette $$, but since buying a 5 string Streamer $$ from our very own dudi8 that's been my main bass. I just don't seem to enjoy the tone or feel of my other basses as much since playing it.
8. As with everybody else, sometimes I can come up with something instantaneously, but other times it can take a little while depending on the song.
9. I couldn't say I'm embarrassed about anything that I listen to. I'll openly admit that I enjoy Rebecca Black's music, or Iwrestledabearonce, and even the shedloads of Jpop and Kpop that I often listen to.
10. Two albums you've never heard of! 1. Rock Pit - High and Mighty Color 2. Seeds of Hope - SiM
11. Last thing I bought from the states was my Warwick Corvette $$ It was being sold at $950 (Little over £600) but by the time I actually received it I ended up paying around £800 because of fees. As somebody who often buys from Japan and Korea I should have known better, but I didn't even think at the time.
12. Wow, stunning looking bass. I would have offered to trade my Mexican P-bass, but I fear I'm a little afield for that trade to take place even if you were interested.
13. I find it hard adjusting between some my own basses sometimes, never mind a completely new one for an audition. Good luck with it.
14. i would imagine it's very much the same as a regular CV in layout. A personal profile, followed by past works/experience, then followed up again by any qualifications that you have.
15. Damn, good luck with that! You're a braver man than me!
16. Stuff like this always happens at the worst of times, doesn't it? Sod's law..
17. Thanks for letting me know. By the looks of it, he steered away because of my location though.
18. To the people that don't understand the whole Youtube cover thing: I do it on a regular basis, and I also make tabs to the songs I play. The video acts as a reference for the tab so they can see exactly what's being played, when, and how it should sound. On another note; I do it only for Asian music, which tends to lack any sort of tablature, or even decent covers for that matter. Some people do it for the same reason I do: To help other people play along to the songs. Some people do it to try and gain exposure (Most people do, and it does help) And most people do it because they enjoy it. They enjoy the feedback that they get, which can help them to improve technique etc.
