  2. I've had a few Jazz basses including a usa Geddy and a real 75 and a real 76 ' i have a MIJ geddy now and a Mex Jazz I Play in a loud classic rock band and they do ok but the winner is my Sadowsky metro vintage jazz in passive mode .Its just massive and fat and sharp and sings all over the neck .Its heavy mind but worth it
  3. I got a 62 cij reissue off here .Sunburst, rosewood board etc . 90s one Really disappointed with it .Ok to play just no real tone or bite . Bought a Player precision during Covid and its ten times better .Neck to die for ,that P punch and grind wish i kept it mind you

  9. People do great copies of Art master pieces too No comparison at all and i hope all the amazing copyists of the world are using their talent to create something unique themselves otherwise what a waste i know some great players who if you say make something up for that bit they can't or sound awful
  10. I have a Japanese metro too . Been looking ideally for P Config. on the new German ones. It will be lighter than my full body I'm in Sunderland Sr2
  11. Gorgeous, what's the story? Not your thing? Would you ship?
  12. Part of my friday YouTube listening for a while ,domi and him anyhow ,very good round about when i found yussef dayes and rocco palladino ,tom minsch etc edit ,havent heard with any vocalist
  13. But the punters stand and say "the sound was a bit muddy " or " i couldnt hear the guitar " etc .Not always the fault of an instrument but the more attention you give stuff the better the chance to sound good .
  14. True it was more pre Gig that i noticed i had to spend a few quid on my gear once i was gigging regular Earth hums ,quiet G strings ,crackly inputs ,bad leads ,bad DI output .etc . Stuff like a Radial DI box and a Sadowsky bass sorts those issues out in an instant
  15. It has ,the rise in popularity of the big ones has created a market for more small local ones which suit the older traditional festival goer
  16. My era was 1999-2003 ,top top bands ,way less punters .You can cap it ,i'd say
  17. I like the swapped bass duties on the Smile stuff
  18. Problem solved if everyone's eyesight is that bad
  19. Exactly so very different to the No structure camping festival set up You can't riot into the early hours at Brenda's bnb
  20. No camping involved is there ?
  21. Never listened but the paying crowd seemed to lap them up Watched the AM footage ,again ,well recieved
  22. Sadowsky owners have a good Facebook page and Roger himself runs it and often comments . Plenty worldwide owners on there
  23. Nice bass,i have one Hope its okay to ask ,did these ever come with a black plate ? mine fits like a glove but the white spare doesn't so its not "the original" which it was stated as .Last owner had it since 2004
  24. Sounds like the whole vibe of that sailed by which is fine .Two completely different bands who are close friends who knocked something up and its a South Park show so the Music Police need to go and mow the lawn really I bet Geddy loved a night off on stage with his bass and mates I love both bands and was looking forward to the uk Primus shows as just a one off mad experience i must have missed the 30 years of Primus rush covers
