5. Selling my beloved 2013 EB bass. Make me an offer!! Health issues have restricted my gigging and sadly it no longer gets used. Barely 12 months old, it is in perfect working order (split coils etc). and is in perfect condition apart from a couple of minor "road wear" cosmetic blemishes described below and shown in the images. 1.The strap pin blemishes look far worse on the photo, it is ONLY finish damage caused by a straplock fastening. 2. Slight wear between the bass & treble pickups caused when flatpicking. 3. Finish wear to the lower left body, caused by playing in a leather jacket?? http://www2.gibson.c...SA/EB-Bass.aspx The price includes a new Hiscox "liteflite" case (the original Gibson case was replaced due it being unmanageably heavy). This bass is truly superb with an amazing number of "dial in" tones and with the fitted "Babicz Full Contact" bridge, has perfect intonation. He must be nearly as old as me and it's nice to see him still rocking with the best of 'em!! 1hr45min. show, great band, great show, great night out.......result!!
17.
Where's the jealous smiley
? ? ?
18. Saw a rockabilly three piece "Katmen" on Jools Holland about a month ago, thought they were fantastic, worth a night out to see anytime. Anyway, going to see George Thorogood & The Destroyers; Sunday night, Symphony Hall, Birmingham and, guess who the support act is............yeah, Katmen............RESULT !! Can't wait, a whole night of in yer' face, three chords, twelve bars, rock n' roll !!!
19. Totally agree, check out my post above, "St Blues King Bass" (Sorry it'll be below now 'cause this reply has bumped the post)
20. Hi, I recently bought a St Blues King bass from a BC member, and have to say that after a littleTLC, a set up and re-string with my favourite flatwounds, this bass is truly superb and is fast becoming my "go to" bass. "Handcrafted" they are evidently manufactured in Korea but assembled & quality checked at the St Blues guitar workshop in Memphis USA. Kent Armstrong pickups, Wilkinson Tuners and an "in house" hi mass bridge (through body stringing), the finish is faultless; the Maple neck and frets are finished superbly too; no rough edges and a delight to play!! Many muso's seem to have an inbuilt prejudice against guitars & basses built in the far east, but I have to say, this example is truly superb, and each instrument should be judged individually on it's own merits. I just wanted to know, are any other BC members playing or familiar with these basses?? www.saintblues.com/assets/1559/st_blues_july_2007.pdf
21. "Bloke doing a poem" Sounds like an empty headed comment typical of a workingmens club committee, who we all know are experts on talent too!
